The Curse of the AFC Add-Ons strikes again!

It was a great turnout and a moving service.

The funeral is at the Hazlehead crem on Monday morning for any that knew him.

Well, there's someone out of work, but then that wouldn't make any sense in the context of your original post.
-
He was my neighbour the last 10 years and it was a shock to hear he'd died. Only 66/67. Used to enjoy many a chat about the Dons with him. Just about every text message he'd sign off with FTH. RIP Duncan.

No, but I considered it a fair implication as I didn't expect you'd want someone who is currently doing badly for a bigger team.
-
You were expecting us to recruit someone doing well in a bigger league?

Just look up the thread a few posts for a reminder.

Match Thread Aberdeen 2 - 1 Ross County

Not really, apart from the relative novelty of a Dons win and a laugh at possibly the worst attempted clearance from a laughably weak attempt you're ever likely to see (put me in mind of Ray Clemence trying to keep out a Dalglish mishit). -
Plenty of managers take over struggling teams. In fact, it's pretty much a prerequisite of there being a vacancy in the first place in most cases. It's going to come down to how much Davie Dentures loosens the purse strings how good a manager we get - and how much a candidate is prepared to overlook the current shambles behind the scenes. But plenty of other shambolic clubs manage to appoint managers and some of them would view a (permanent) manager a season as relative stability.

We've had it as well. I don't think you even managed close to second best.

To be fair, not many out there picked out Gillhaus as a top midfielder. Credit where it's due.
