Ke1t
Racism pertains to bigotry based upon race. Hence racism. Charging for some (what sounds like) godawful condiment might be considered bigotry, if dickish were a form of bigotry. Which it isn't. Addendum. He says he is being unfairly treated because he is Glaswegian and that that amounts to “racial discrimination”. Glaswegian isn't a race. Link to comment
tup
A weegie is somewhere between neanderthal man and homo sapien. Under developed in the brain department. So you could argue they are a different species. Probably classes as cruelty to animals and would be a matter for the RSPCA. 5 Link to comment

tup
You have to question whether riff raff like that is good for business anyway. Chippers are way too expensive these days, the mark up on the shite they sell is incredible. Link to comment
Tyrant
It fucking pains me that this arsehole (and MT subsequent post) is getting all this attention. Firstly as Kelt has pointed out Glasweegie is not a race. And secondly if a minker from Edinburgh went into the same shop and wanted Ketchup they'd get charged the same as the minker from Glasgow so right there alone his claim of "racism" is as nonsensical as this story getting widespread attention. 1 2 Link to comment
a don in oz
chipper 2 (ˈtʃɪpər) — n informal ( Irish ), ( Scot ) a fish-and-chip shop http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/chipper Chipper it is. And chinky chips and curry sauce is (or was, 15 years ago when I got it) fine. Not that I'd ever call it a chinky. 1 Link to comment
Henry
Was actually saying earlier I'm thinking of sacking chippers for good, far too much grease and inevitably get a sore gut afterwards. 3 Link to comment
ChutneyLove
I thought black people liked getting called "black"? Even though most of them are brown. It's coloured they don't like. Or the "n" word. Which they sometimes do like. I don't think it's racist to call someone black. Unless they're not black. Link to comment
The Boofon
well, blacks not a race but if you call someone black, then you are BEING racist? explain that one, kojakhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_people Now where's my lollipop? Link to comment

Karl Fletcher
"Det Insp Alan McAlpine said: "I wish to emphasise that attacks of this type are very rare." Is that not a massive contradiction considering these were three seperate stabbing incidents in the same area? Or is it never rains but it pours kind of thing If you simply google 'Knife Attack Glasgow' it would appear this is not as rare as Mr McAlpine would think 1 Link to comment
Foster14
I can't believe this is even news. If you want any of the various cheap sass that is in big bottles, you get it free. If it is in a sachet, you pay. The chipper doesn't have it because there isn't sufficient demand for it. I am sure if some Jamaican chap popped in and asked for some free Reggae Reggae sauce, he wouldn't even have the audacity (or gallusness) to claim it to be racism if he were charged for it...
