The Labour Party Are A Fucking Disgrace

At a time of 'national crisis' (according to Labour) it's surely an issue that the opposition have lost votes in Parliament against a minority government. Corbyn is completely hopeless. Time to accept it.

1. Labour haven't "lost votes in parliament", these guys would vote how they want, regardless of what way they were whipped.

2. Labour have continually won votes (actual votes, not single votes) in parliament recently.

3. This latest resignation is of someone who'd already lost a vote of no-confidence from her constituency Labour Party and is certain to be deselected at the next GE. It means pretty much hee-haw, they were only an MP in title only, not actuality.

I appreciate you're unable to actually look at situations and analyse them yourself, instead just repeating what the man on the telly tells you.

You'll also completely ignore whatever I say and fail to bring any actual analysis to this debate, so it's unlikely i'll bother continuing this interaction any further.

They are actual MPs, could be for years yet. The opposition to a minority government just lost 8 MPs because of their racist leader. I'd have thought you'd be concerned about that.

parky, what is the anti-jew stuff all about?

any basis to it?

Over 500,000 member in the party, in 10 months there were less than 700 complaints of alleged antisemitism. That's 0.14% which I hardly think represents an existential threat.

Labour is also the only political party which has included the full IHRA (International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance) definition of antisemitism into it's code of conduct.

The hypocrisy on this is pretty astounding as well. On national breakfast tv yesterday a right wing pundit, who was accusing Jeremy Corbyn of being an anti-semite, called a left wing journalist a "self-hating jew" because he disagreed - which is pretty textbook anti-semitism. Barely mentioned in the news. Meanwhile some twitter trolls send some abuse to a Jewish MP and suddenly a Labour is institutionally anti-semitic...

2 hours after announcing they were leaving a party because of institutionalised racism, Angela Smith is on politics live describing Asian people as having a "funny tinge" of colour. Only brought up on newsnight and immediately dismissed by one of her newly independent mates despite being one of the most overtly racist things an MP has said in decades.

As Craeg points out, Labour under Corbyn have introduced the strongest rules to combat anti-Semitism any political party has. Yet JC is anti-semetic?

Unfortunately we live in a world where any criticism of Israel, or support of Palestine, is portrayed as anti-Semitic. Now it's been repeated so often by the man on the telly, many people believe it. Pretty sad.

JC should dress up in the Jewish shit and go to a Jewish church and do Jewish shit. Put it to bed once and for all.

When JC went to a left wing Jewish event, Joan Ryan said it was the wrong type of Jewish event to attend.

Claiming that left wing / pro Palestine Jews are the wrong kind of Jews to be associating with is once again pretty antisemitic. But now she's left the party because she just can't stand the antisemitism....

The equivalent of more than 2 complaints a day is unacceptable, no matter what party it is
