Celtic 3 - 0 Aberdeen

Recommended Posts

Onward & upwards

Not many expected quite such a convincing beasting of Hibs, so hopefully we can keep kicking on & be the team to end these cunts undefeated run.

It is only fitting that it is us after all & to do so at the piggery again would be all the sweeter.

They have two games between meeting us, so hopefully Hearts & Partick can kick a few lumps out of them first.

I'm going for a 2-3 prediction ;)

Not on telly... Well done SPFL...

If Aberdeen are at home, it's on telly.

If Celtic are, it's not. This is because they don't want to lose hospitality from an altered kick off time.

This applies to the huns as well. Only away games are shown on the telly, never home games unless it's against each other or a Wednesday night.

Loving all the negativity for this game. I like all of your thinking. It worked wonders for todays game also against the second best team in the Country.

I however am going to go with the minority again on this & say we ARE going to be the team to end their undefeated run AGAIN at the piggery AGAIN.

GMS to run riot v old side setting up May for his 2 in a 2-3 win for us with Considine getting a sweet back post header to make it three.

Wright, or Stewart to show we can live without Christie (now & again)

Most of the team picks itself. Probably only one spot is up for grabs between Rooney, Stewart and Wright.

Lewis

Logan Arnason McKenna Considine

OConnor McLean

Stewart Shinnie GMS

May

subs: Rogers, Rooney, Wright, Maynard, Reynolds, Ball, Tansey

prediction: 2-0 Celtic boooo

Playing both Rooney and May from the start won't work. We tried that at home against them and got buried.

Logan Arnason McKenna Shinnie

O'Connor Tansey

Stewart McLean GMS

I think this is the team he will go with assuming they are all fit. Surely by now he has realised Considine at LB just doesn't work against Celtic. Tansey doesn't fill me with confidence but if him being in the side keeps Shinnie at LB and Considine on the bench then so be it. At least Tansey has actually had some decent games against Celtic before (albeit for ICT). Considine on the other hand gets ripped a new one against them every single time.

Why the fk would we play Tansey? Even if he does recover in time he's been fkn shite

There have been a few examples over recent weeks on how to play against them and do well, but McInnes won't look into any of those.

An early Celtic goal and it transforming into an absolute shocker is very probable. AberTims to be out in force on social media again tomorrow night after their week off.

Nothing to do with hospitality. The rule over a number of years is that Celtic home games are not shown live outwith the break into the top six in April, then they can be shown. I suppose the idea is to spread the coverage to other grounds with presumably added revenue. Unfortunately, this means that the outside viewing population sees only games played in front of empty terraces which is a poor advert for Scottish fitba.

If you don't like it, DYA. The thread had turned into a steaming pile of shite.

It had. Thats the laugh of all of this for me, everyone is so keen to argue that the threads become utter shite. What is there to talk about on this thread anyway?

We'll go there, try frustrate them, inevitably lose a cheap goal- then it will be damage limitation. Standard.
