Turned round to my young nephew that night to say to him that you'll never see him (Greg Tansey) in an Aberdeen shirt again after being hooked before half-time that horrible night. True enough. Didn't he have an ongoing groin injury when we signed him for three years?I think we did try to sign him in the January 2017 transfer window but due to mitigating circumstances, whatever they were, the transfer couldn't be completed. Presume it was down to some infirmity, and now nearly 3 years on we finally get the truth. Very poor I'm afraid on Aberdeen's part that we knew we were signing someone as a major risk.
