alscotoz
Can only see tims spend the cash in January and win the league. Sevco will try to keep up appearances, but their cash won't be enough (and hopefully push them further into the shit). Think with a couple of solid signings we can finish second. Scottish Cup draws being kind, think we will win it. Predict tims will not win treble treble. 1 Link to comment
Studebaker-90
Can see us finishing third. Third and a cup would be excellent. Celtic to win it by 10 points. Link to comment
Poodler
Will choose carefully which one away day to do between now and end of season. No shame in saying I'd rather Celtic won the league than der Hun. On what I saw of yesterday's game, we don't have the cahonies for a TC Link to comment

Shinniesta
Still too long to go to make any predictions (we have 17 league games remaining). We go to Parkhead at the beginning of March and after that there are only 9 league games to go. If by the end of that game we are still within 3 points then I'll start believing that we truly have a chance to challenge for the title. Because by then we will have played Sevco, Celtic, Hibs, Killie & St Johnstone 3 times each in the league. Until we get to that point then as always at this time of year our best hope is the SC. For now let's just get most of our injured players back for the resumption of the season in 3 weeks time, make a couple of good signings to improve the squad and hope that James Wilson maintains the form he showed on Saturday. COYR! Link to comment

Tyzo_1903
Arguably two of the biggest and toughest transfer windows for Mcinnes in his time here. Jan - Squads needing a major boost. Now no proper left back, midfield is a bit short in the middle and also a chance we might lose McKenna to big bucks. Summer - Losing GMS and Shinnie likely and not really going to have the cash to replace them like for like. Squad is needing a major overhaul with a lot of your Tanseys, Forresters etc needing punted. Link to comment
AllyDon
As much as I would love to see us win the league again, realistically 2nd is the best we can do again. Have a feeling, both of the ugly sisters will spend silly money in January so we may have to settle for 3rd unfortunately. A Scottish Cup win would be a delight and long overdue. Would be great to see some business completed in the January transfer window so we have a more settled squad this time for the European games. We are in a far better position that I feared we would be in 2 or 3 months ago so well done to McInnes and the boys for the turnaround. Link to comment

The closest will probably be getting one or two 'names' on loan from England. Celtic would suspect will sign a couple of first picks to give them a boost but always the chance if they are foreign players that they might not fit in. Don't expect the Dons to compete but if we look after ourselves and win the games we are favourites in we'll be there or thereabouts with 10 games to go. Link to comment

eeps
+1 this.Far better to quietly go about our business not being regarded as serious challengers. Killie are 50-1 on bet365 while we are 66-1, seems strange but better for us. Link to comment

TheRock
BBC did an article yesterday about the title race being 'ignited' but no mention of us or the one point behind Kilmarnock. A neutral looking in would wonder what the hell is going on. But yeah, suits both of us. Link to comment

Feel like something's wrong to get past half way, be 3 points off the top and not be aiming to win the whole thing.Agreed but I think there are still too many games to go for us to be considered a serious threat to Celtic just yet. I mentioned earlier that by the time we finish playing Celtic at Parkhead in early March if we are still within 3 points or so then we have to be seen as a genuine threat as there would be less than 10 games to go by that point. But I agree McInnes should be thinking to himself that Celtic are as vulnerable as they have ever been under Brenda and that Sevco are beatable as we've already shown nothing to fear there. He needs to be thinking that a couple of decent signings and a bit of luck with form and injuries and we could win the whole damn thing. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
6pts at the split (probably 5 given the goal difference) are contenders If, unlike the last 3 years all are capable of taking points off each other. 3 points or less and that’s real contention right there. That should be our goal. But yes I think Celtic will buy their way out of trouble and the hun will feel obliged to go along for the ride. Link to comment
Big Hat Logan
Celtic will spend money and win the league by some distance. The huns will spend more money they don’t have but it will only be enough for second. We will finish third or fourth and this will be the return of the duopoly, the “good times” are over. 2 Link to comment
