aberdeen1970
Should have asked to skip this one. Only been back in the team for 90mins. Last thing he needs is to join up with Scotland and pick up an injury in training again. Link to comment
torry_battery_ram
Shows how short of options Scotland are at centre half. Did fine yesterday though. Link to comment
Tord31
Consi never gets a look in while likes of Reynolds and Devlin get a few call ups each Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Can’t help but notice it was never explained how he picked up such a bad injury in a casual training session the last time. Just unlucky perhaps? Link to comment

JakieBastard
Consi never gets a look in while likes of Reynolds and Devlin get a few call ups eachAye it does seem a bit strange that Consi (arguably our best performer so far this season) is never anywhere the Scotland squads. Meanwhile Devlin, who we can all see has struggled for form and through injury... is straight in after completing 90 mins for the first time in ages. I can see why Considine is a bit of an old fashioned centre back and doesn't have much pace (doesn't stop Grant Hanley clocking up the caps), but he must wonder sometimes why he can't get a look in Link to comment
Dynamo
Very surprised by his call up. Good for him personally. Link to comment
dj_bollocks
Unfortunately for Considine whilst he is a dependable CB he's also prone to heinous clangers too... Nowhere near good enough for a Scotland cap especially against the likes of Belgium... Link to comment
Ten Caat
Unfortunately for Considine whilst he is a dependable CB he's also prone to heinous clangers too... Nowhere near good enough for a Scotland cap especially against the likes of Belgium... It never stopped Grant Hanley picking up a few caps. Or going back 25 years.....Davie McPherson who got more than just a few. If Stephen O'Donnell is good enough for the squad (he isn't but has no serious competition for his position) then Consi is good enough too 2 Link to comment
BWG
Considine should get a cap. Just for the banter. Link to comment

StandFree1982
tbh if Devlin is deserving of a call up, then Considine definitely deserves one. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Fine balance though between using the sScotland games to get his fitness up (doubt he’ll play obvs) but avoiding the further inevitable twingey injuries. In fairness I’d trust Steve Clarke a lot more than some with that balance. Link to comment

Sheepo
Consi is a first pick at Dons, arguably Devlin is 4th choice Link to comment

Zander1903
noting a lot of love for big andy now that hes not LB anymore.........Quite rightly so 1 Link to comment
OnceFaeMintlaw
Maybe Dad can start a "The Andrew Considine Show" petition, and get him into the Scotland squad. That seems to work. Link to comment
