We do know that the season he signed our average player wage was just north of £2.8k/week

We dont pay our youngsters anything like that.....Wright would have been considered a youngster at that point for instance.

For every youngster earning £600-1k/week there has to be at least one senior pro earning a whack above that to balance the figures out. It's simple arithmetic min

Those numbers still don't enable you to calculate that GMS was earning 4k per week at Aberdeen.  It could have been 3k, 5k, whatever.  The point is we don't know and have no way of knowing unless we see his payslip.

Same with Boyce.  We have no way of knowing what he was paid at County, Burton, Hearts or whne he was delivering papers as a 12 year old.  People take a number off the top of their head and repeat it until it becomes gospel.

Naismith and Boyce are both on in excess of £6k a week basic. Both a reflection of a club in a fear spiral under Budge and Levein. Panic contracts we're now tied to. Naismith an expensive sub in retirement mode. Lots of fans rate Boyce, my jury still out. Don't see it. Or we're not playing a system that helps him. He scored for fun at RC. Think we maybe ask him to drop deep too much and have struggled with wingers to supply him.

GMS had better be unfit cos he stinks the place out since he joined. Don't know what he's on. But the boo boys are already circling for a return to Tynie. Seems to fail to beat a man, then jog back looking uninterested. So far, dud.

On upside, think McEneff might be a player. High energy and looks up for it with bit ability, but early days. Our Sporting Director been monitoring him for four years since he left Spurs.

We'll win this league cos we've a big budget surrounded by labourers and postmen. But lots still to be done. And Robbie has a big element of Hearts fans who see him as the offspring of Budge and Levein who gifted them the cup.

Nobody working in a bank would ever do something like that without a valid business need.

Fine, upstanding pillars of our community are bankers!!

folk eventually got blocked from Rangers - only local office could access - was interesting seeing Xfer payments versus what was reported in newspapers

Shay Logan has won us all over quickly and fans wanting him to sign for next season, for a year. Has looked really convincing going forwards, and backwards, and players enjoying playing with him.

Never really paid attention before but must have been some player at his peak at Aberdeen if this is him at 33. Pleasantly surprised for not much outlay.

GMS has found a bit form too in a more central no 10 role rather than a winger. Or maybe just getting fitter. But looks decent now too.

All against Championship teams but top of Championship and bottom of SPFL are similar quality. Happy with both.

Logan was the best right back in the league for a spell but started going downhill a few years ago. Not good enough for us now but glad he’s starting for hearts. Should get you punching well above your weight next year and challenging to break into the top 6 ?

Good to see Logan getting a last season in the big league, not good enough for a top 6 team though and will retire at the end of next season as I cannot see him wanting to drop down a league again.. He is used to servicing old boilers so he should be a favourite of old Granny budge

I'm a typical moany fan. Moaned when we signed him. Moaning now we're letting him leave.

He obviously takes care of himself. I think he showed up Smith for being immobile, slow and poor at supporting the attack. Also seemed a decent character. Robbie wants to go for youth. So letting 33 year old Logan go so he can stick with 32 year old Smith.

Wish him well. I'm sure he'll get a Motherwell or Dundee Utd.

Glad he is not staying. Don't want him playing against us especially for those hun cunts.

Defo.would ruin his reputation he had with us, overall had a good career and was really good when he first arrived.would hate him signing for them as well, mini hun fucks ?
