SupportmeansSUPPORT
He will be good if he's still the same player he was at Ross County. McInnes went very hard after him when he was leaving County... he obviously opted for England, but clearly hasn't worked out for him down there. I'm very surprised, given McInnes track record, that we weren't interested... Didn't see eye to eye with Darren Ferguson so that's why they are letting him go. I suspect we would have been interested if we hadn't already signed Vyner. But at the time we were short in defence and needed someone in quickly Vyner was available whilst Naismith wasnt. Ten days later Pboro signed a 2nd right back and he was told he could then leave but by that time we had already used our budget and had covered the vacant position in the squad. Link to comment

Hopefully we are well positioned to make a move for him at Christmas, or next Summer. Would be an excellent replacement for Logan. Link to comment
Studebaker-90
Jason Cummings signed 2 year deal with Shrewsbury.... He's on a right downward slope.Scottish Championship player at best. Was rank when he played in the top flight. Probably found his level. Link to comment
Wester Hailes Skins
Hickey. Modern football. Lucky to see the cunt play 20 games for us before poached away to a bigger club's 3rd team. Although tbf I was in our old stand watching a 16/17 year old Naismith make his debut and not give di Canio a sniff in the League Cup. Hickey is better and different gravy. Link to comment

Sonoftherock
I used to love Efe Ambrose at Celtic... no matter how dominant they were against us, you always knew we had a chance of scoring as long as Ambrose was still on the pitch. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
A real head scratcher he was... Why did they persevere with him? Just one of those football mysteries that will ne'er be solved. He was the gift that kept on giving when he played against us for Hibs too! I'd love him to come back! In answer to your question - if you removed the lapses in concentration, brain fades and comedy errors, you'd have a really good footballer there. Celtic probably thought they could iron those out, and smooth off some of the rough edges. Having said that, on his day I've also seen him turn in the odd blinder. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Is this 17yr old Reagan Thomson of Queens park any good? Any relation to Stephen Thompson? huns & Newcastle after him & apparently (bbc gossip section) Newcastle are currently out bidding Huns with a £35k bid. worth a look? We can easily match bids like that for young Scottish talent. Just offer higher sell on clause % to swing it. 2 Link to comment

We and every team in Scotland would definitely know all about him. But he is still very young and would be a long way off being ready to play for senior team. We would probably have been tried when Queens Park were still amateur status and it was easier to sign the likes of Shankland and Ruth from them for a donation to their youth programme Link to comment

It was a no risk signing as he had already shown he could play at senior level in the top league. This lad has a lot of potential but is much younger and would be in the same category as Ruth in that he might develop into a top player but there is a risk that he doesn't develop. Remember the likes of Storie & Bagshaw looked like top talents at the same age as this.Depends on how much they want as to whether its worth the risk I guess. Link to comment
