They'd better not get anyone decent in because we've got a bloody good crack at the title once the Huns start wobbling following defeat tomorrow. Where can I buy myself a bottle of optimism liquor that you have obviously been tanning? Neat by the sounds of it. Hibs go 2 up. Bye bye Lennon Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Another handball penalty I see. Haven’t seen it & not slating the call but in general this new handball rule is a complete load of shite. Especially when it cost us 2 points V Utd when it was as blatant as they come compared Link to comment
aberdeen1970
The Israel game was a blatant penalty that scotland never got as well. Link to comment

aberdeen1970
They've brought it on themselves with their own arrogance. Thinking they could replace Rodgers with Lennon and not notice any difference. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Crazy that they gave him a deal off the back of a basic SC final win lol Million miles more ridiculous than when we/Milne practically gave McInnes the keys to the city for a LC win both were ridiculous but at least Celtic had plenty cash by comparison to attract far better options Link to comment
aberdeen1970
It was the same in his last spell. Almost blew every advantage they had but managed to do enough to get over the line. Rodgers took those advantages and rubbed everyone's noses in it. As you would expect seeing as he's an arrogant cunt. But he's also an excellent coach. Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
Noticed people discussing Stevie Mays penalty. Also worth checking highlights for. commentator: “May waits to see keeper decide and slips it the other...” reality: may hits it hard and hopes and is lucky the keeper goes under it. another to file under Sure he was a nice guy but never ever good enough, and that was before two knee reconstructions. strachanmcgheegoal
Different arguement. Not disagreeing. Interestingly both bought (and probably Edmondson too) to do that chasing pressing role. All three appear to be shite at it despite, ironically, two doing it horribly effectively to us in cup semis. Strachan, like Clarke, prefers to live down south. Would he really fancy taking over from popcorn teeth with his club x amount of points behind in the championship race whilst inheriting a squad that's partially unfit 4 months into the season, partially over-priced dross and whose best player seems to have downed tools and wants out asap? Even giving him a massive budget for new players in January is still likely too little too late. And history will remember the manager that was in charge when 10IAR was lost at the end of the season....not the manager that was the root cause of it that he replaced. I think he'd politely decline. Yes, but the point is Starchan would know exactly what he was turning down, good and bad. Theres few other candidates I can think of you could say that of. Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
This extra European place for next season will make the top six games (& lead up to them) a lot more competitive but will probably have a more conservative effect on Mcinnes & his attitude to games as he’ll think of it as a back up/fall back position to relax into Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
St Mirren & Killie would have just cause for asking why Utd aren’t getting punished their next coup,e of games - 3 for a blatant COVID Rules breach. Huns & Hibs next two games as well Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
This was discussed on Sportsound yesterday. Difference seems to be that Utd were prepared to (and did) play their games whereas Stmirren didn’t fulfil the fixture at all. Link to comment
