Commons as he is now wouldn't add anything. If anything he would just be a distraction. We've got younger and hungrier players in the positions he can play.

Aye 25 year old McLean with circa 100 games in 2 years to get replaced by 34 year old with 6 starts in 2 years. JW (Jesus Wept)

Should be offering a low wage commons a contract should he prove his fitness, he'll be wanting a chance to get back playing football and we could do with a back up attacking option

Horrific shout

even if we sold McLean i'd not be sure an attacking midfield/forward is the highest priority

I think it would definitely be a priority especially as McInnes favours 4-2-3-1.

We have a lot of options at centre forward but not that many in attacking midfield. We currently have Stewart, Christie, Wright, GMS, McLean and at a push Stevie May that could play in the 3 behind the lone striker. If McLean leaves and isn't replaced with a player of a similar ilk and McInnes decides that when we play Celtic he wants to play a mobile striker like May on his own up top it would leave us with very little options in the 3 behind the striker in his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation with Christie ineligible against them. When we play Celtic McLean is the ideal man to step in as the number 10.

McLean is very important for us as he covers both the attacking and defensive midfield roles very well. He should definitely not be sold especially for the type of small fee that the huns apparently want to pay for him. If he helps us to second place in the league again and a cup final then IMO getting no fee for him will have been worth it.

If the council doesn't give the go ahead for the new stadium at kings ford Do you think Mcinnes and most of his signings will want to stay at a run down pittodrie. I didn't hear any of the blue haired protesters from west hill and surrounding areas protesting when the oil company's dug up the land round about them for their super offices etc.

That Miles Storey from Partick looks decent, we'll have to watch him closely next week.

Greg Docherty from Hamilton.

Was impressed with him in the 2 games against us and had a great performance against Hibs. high workrate, strong runner, strong tackler, decent shot on him, and decent passer and out of contract next summer. still only 20 so would be due compensation for him though.

forget the out of contact next summer. He signed a new 2 year deal an hour ago.

I've only seen him a few times (one of which was Saturday and he was out jumped for the first goal). I was looking for specific examples? Dundee aren't exactly on the boax every week. So how is someone living in Calgary coming to this opinion...

Are you disagreeing with it or are you calling him out for just repeating what learned posters such as myself have said about Kerr?

I guess abit of both but more so the latter. The first I'd heard of the man was the pre 7-0 thrashing when our FB scored a hatrick.

He is by no means Shaleum Logan quality but he's very young and continually improving. I probably watch Dundee more than most because I work with the peh munching bastards and Kerr has certainly got the potential to go far. Whether he realizes it or not is up to him.

If he was a LB I'd happily see us get him in now.

How did he play in the 7 nil game then as that's probably about 25% of the times you've seen him
