Have to agree with MT: what's the objection here? He's not openly touting him for the job which absolutely would have been tosspot-behaviour. He's just saying that Clarke would have been a good appointment for the Ranters, which is indeed the case.

Depends on the exact quote. If he said 'lucky rangers weren't looking for a manager then' then I agree with lgb1969 he's being a cunt mouthpiece.

If he just said 'it would have been a good appointment for rangers' then fair enough.

I think the inference was that it would not be a complete shock if Rangers tried to go for Clarke if the Killie good run continued.

As we all suspect he will be on peanuts at Killie so the reasoning was there was no blockers if Rangers were so inclined - we will just have to see if it becomes a recurring theme for the ring-piece in question over the weeks to come.

Either way he is one of the main shit steering "we have our sources and are only passing on that information" that the weegia were peddling for the 6wks before Deek turned SevCo down so in my books he is a main part of the problem with the media when it comes to the ugly sisters

Agreed, he is quite simply a staunch hun cheerleader who has been given an agenda driven remit with the national broadcaster.

Tommy Wright will be next up for the job next week, then Clarke will be mentioned again the following week, then Robinson from Motherwell the week after that.

Just pure coincidence that the huns next 3 games are St. Johnstone, Kilmarnock then Motherwell.
