Parklife
What are his attributes? Big and strong and no nonsense? Or can he play with the ball at his feet too? Link to comment
Shinniesta
Part time club in a league of full time clubs, where better to cut his teeth, learn the trade, he's at the best place imo and doing a brilliant job, been MOTM on more than one occasion, Alloa manager says he'll go on to bigger things. Was always a stand out at under 20 games last year.Surely with both Reynolds and Considine coming to the end of their careers and McKenna certain to move on next summer we will offer this obviously very good young prospect a new deal? None of those really but can play, tall guy, 6ft 5", only plays with his left foot but has a killer pass on him and is a great header of the ball, reads the game well, always gets there first. mcdougall(4)
Okay m8 Tell me more about Mcinnes great work with young players... A take that has aged well Link to comment
mcdougall(4)
I agree with 1903, Mcinnes and giving youth a chance isn't something that happens. He stumbled over McKenna due to injury problems. Not my call but we need rid of Mcinnes, apathy has set in, we're the beige of Scottish football. No doubt roll over and have our tummy tickled on Sunday. This one too. Link to comment
V for Vendetta
Are we letting this kids contract run down? Link to comment

Think the biggest problem is he doesn't look like a player and will have the odd fuck up, can Mcinnes take a chance on a young defender?? Link to comment

He must be getting reports back from his performances at Alloa where it sounds like he's doing well (probably better than McKenna did at Ayr). Link to comment
Zander1903
so why have we not tied him up to a deal if hes out of contract in the summer? Link to comment

Betty Swallicks
Is it not ideal having a young defender at a team battling relegation? Put Russel Anderson back about 2 years. That and being played at RB where he got worse every game. Link to comment

King Street Loon
He trains with us most of the week, goes there 3 days, best of both Worlds.Does he train with the first team when back up here?If he does that would be an indicator of how much he's in McInnes thoughts. Link to comment
Betty Swallicks
No, his meek attitude did that and a helluva lot more than 2 years Meek attitude? lol. Link to comment

daytripping
Sam was man of the match again against Falkirk on Saturday yet I hear when he comes back to train with Aberdeen midweek he trains with the reserves and kids, doesn't make sense to me, holding his own in the Championship with the only part time team in the league, young and left footed so an ideal replacement for McKenna when he inevitably goes, wonder what the clubs thinking is behind that. Players on loan go to try and improve their game and try and impress the host club, he seems to being doing his side of the bargain but no extension on his contract yet. Any time I've seen him he's been a stand out, just don't get the clubs thinking, not as if it would cost a fortune to extend his deal. 1 Link to comment
daytripping
Was talking to an alloa player last weekend, says he is doing great there and a "right good player" Reminds me of a young Sergio Ramos when I see him. 1 Link to comment
