It's actually pretty ridiculous that the manager can be banned for five games if he is critical of refs but if the club do it in an official statement or through a director they get a paltry fine or no punishment at all.

So because Brown got booked & it is deemed that the ref is clearly doing his job. He cannot now be retrospectively banned/suspended.

 

I guess that is because our fantastic referees have been found to be so dependable, especially of late & there is no point in checking if they just maybe fkd up.
