  1. Oh NOW mini knows something, 24 hours after Sue & Alan Nixon already revealed it on twitter. First as always eh?
  2. What I don't understand is why people wanted Steve Clarke yet describe O'Neil as boring. Their management records are fairly similar, and O'Neil has actually taken Northern Ireland further in a tournament despite less than half the population of Scotland, and the Republic of Ireland taking a few of their players. He drew 1-1 with Romania the other day with a team that has an average age of 23.5, and having to pick English League One players. O'Neil has done an exceptional job there.
  3. Arne Friedrich still being appointed aye?
  4. Finally! Director of football appointed. https://www.afc.co.uk/2021/05/20/dons-appoint-director-of-football/
  5. Grow up. You're impressing nobody. What a weird take. He's won the league title, scored in a Scottish cup final which they won, and played in a European final. That's more than he did at Aberdeen. Whatever you think of him the move clearly worked out well for him.
  6. Charlie Mulgrew. A prick who couldn't be arsed. Ash Taylor too. Ryan Jack is a snake but he tried his best when at Aberdeen to be fair to him.
  7. You did. You literally compared Neil getting sacked to Mourinho & Benitez, as if it's the same thing. Read this a few times and hopefully it'll get through to you.. Alex Neil being sacked isn't the issue. Him being sacked, repeatedly, for being a failure, is an issue. I'm on the Jimmy Thelin train, and if it isn't him then fuck the board and fuck you too.
  8. And miss the meltdown from all his previous backers? Would almost make his appointment worth it.
  9. Mourinho won the league twice at Real Madrid but was sacked for not winning the Champions League. Alex Neil was sacked by Stoke for being 20th in the league and being absolutely shite. How can you compare the two?
  10. Mourinho was unfairly sacked in most of those cases though, and only because he was given huge expectations. It'd be like appointing him Aberdeen manager and demanding a trophy every season then sacking him. Putting Alex Neil alongside them with his poor record and saying "yeh but others get sacked too" is fucking horrendous patter. What is wrong with you?
