I’m not & said as much.

he got it for winning goal & that’s all as there was nobody else that stood out otherwise.

Had he not scored it would have been a lucky dip

Aye.

Everybody was pretty shite I thought.

Cosgrove a bit better than recent games but still too many mistakes in possession.  Poor mistake for the goal conceded as well.

Hedges and Hayes tried to make things happen but passing was poor.

Taylor won his headers and got the winner.

Everybody else was well below par.

He rightly got the MOTM for his goal and another solid performance , he deserves a bit of credit . The issue is the lack of top class performances from our attacking players that a defender doesn't get MOTM . Thought Hedges tried hard but the rest are well under par

It's time we stopped knocking Ash Taylor. We know he's not the most skillful player, but in the main he does a dependable job and works hard for the cause. Doesnt deserve the constant criticism he gets.

In your honest opinion can you see an Aberdeen team with him winning a trophy?

If so can I have your dealers number please

Maybe so but we were at our best with Watkins up front who ran about a lot just like stevie may.

Thought second half was lot better but couldn’t be much worse. Another couple of wins n will be right up there

Watkins to be fair had quite a bit more pace about him and was able to be more effective at the “running around” than Stevie May was for us.

That's a stupid qustion.

It's a team game and if played properly it's all to do with the sum of the parts. It's quite possible someone like him could be in a trophy winning team and it has probably happened in the past with other similar players.

As regards him he won't be in an Aberdeen team that wins a trophy as he will mostly likely leave in a couple of years anyway and there is no way such a transformation will take place in that timescale.

What’s stupid about it? We’ll win nothing with sub standard dross like him in the team as you’ve pretty much alluded to in the second part of your response

Most of them tbh although not a huge fan of Main and I think Ojo is fucking toilet

Ashton though is by far the weakest link

Agreed. This team don't have the cahonies to win a trophy. Certainly wouldn't have taken Celtic to Pens last week.

one of our players wears a hairband and Taylor has his wife follow him around taking pictures of himself, like some poundshop Beckham. They're weak and we are where we deserve to be for entertaining this mentality of player.

20 points behind rangers at Xmas. A fucking disgrace

Haha

someone came away with a stat recently that the dons have only lost once away this decade.

it's clutching at absurd pseudo positives like that that make this mediocrity acceptable.

Ive watched most games this season and it's just grim watching McHun settle

It was sarcasm poodler, I don't think I can ever be accused of being a DMC fanboy!

Done as much as Taylor did yes

Did you see the hospital ball Taylor played that got Considine in the shite?

Let it go min, I agree that Taylor isn't good enough for the dons to take the step up however he had a good game today (a decent December if truth be told) and apart from the loose pass to Considine that you won't let lie he was a decent shout for man of the match today, granted the bar was pretty low today but he defended well and scored a winner. What else can you ask for?

The goal is all that earned him plaudits/MOTM over the rest of the shite pretty much.

That is all.
