Good article, although at one point near the end it claims Jim Goodwin is Scottish.

Ahhhh squirters.... back when i was young and naive and way before the days of easy access to online porn, picked up this girl in town and took her home, 69ing on the bed and thought she'd pissed on my face. Our home record this season is.P16 W4 D7 L5. Our away record this season is P17 W4 D4 L9 It shouldn't take much for a decent manager to improve on that dramatically, and it appears now that we finally have a decent manager. Turn 6 of those defeat into draws and 6 of those draws into wins and we'd be 18 points better off and comfortably top 6, not too far off 3rd. Thelin will be given time to implement the changes that are needed, but its not beyond the realms of possibility that we can be 3rd or very close to it next season with a minimal upturn in fortunes / quality.

I never said we stand no chance of getting him. I didn’t believe we were after him as I had no faith whatsoever in the board based entirely on the last 3 years. But credit where it’s due, they’ve held firm and got their man.

Fair do's. Don't disagree with a lot of that, just think a lot of that is relevant to Robson as well. We were fortunate that we went on a good run at the exact same time as Hearts fell apart 'again'. Were fortunate to beat St Johnstone and Ross County in that run, and could have been a couple of goals down against Dundee United at half time before Duk's wonder goal gave us a lift. Then our arses collapsed after the split. And our run to the league cup final included struggling past a Stirling Albion team currently 3rd bottom of League One. Personally i'd go McInnes, Calderwood... fair enough Brown deserves some credit but the other 7 are equal levels of shite. Embarrassing what we've had to put up with over the past 24 years when you really look at it.

Ebbe got us to 2 cup finals in his first season and into Europe.

Robson and Glass don't deserve a mention either really. Both equally as shite as the likes of Ebbe, Goodwin etc.

To be fair I also said ‘ sincerely hope he is a genuine target.. just have no faith in our board and wouldn't put it past them in the slightest to leak stories to try and take the pressure off of them and the mess they're making of our club.’ I had no faith in the board due to the mess they’ve made over the past few years, still don’t. But if Thelin does come in and is the success that I’m sure he could be then I’ll be more than happy to be proven wrong.

Don't see too much of an issue with it if the contract is signed and its 100% guaranteed he's coming on 1st June. If we're waiting until then for him to make a decision then it doesn't make any sense as we could be left at the start of June back at square one again a few weeks before pre season starts if he changes his mind.
