St Mirren 1 - 0 Aberdeen

Recommended Posts

Injured: Taylor

Doubtful: Bryson

I think he'll make a few changes for this one. I'd expect we'll see a debut for Vyner (for Logan or Leigh) and further forward possibly first starts of the season for Main and McLennan.

Logan Vyner McKenna Considine

Ojo Ferguson

McLennan Wright Wilson

subs: Cerny, Leigh, Cosgrove, McGinn, Gallagher, Hedges, Devlin

prediction: 2-0 Considine and Main (pen)

I'd rest Logan, McGinn and one of the two central midfielders for this one (especially if Bryson is fit).  Maybe Gallagher too.

I'd play Hedges, I think he needs more game time at the moment to get into his stride.

McKenna

Leigh (possibly take him off later in the game and shunt Consi across for a bit)

Ojo

Cosgrove

0-2 (Cosgrove, Wilson)

No way Leigh is getting dropped. It would more likely be McKenna or Logan, depending on contract situations.

Not a case of anyone being dropped -  its resting players ahead of a huge game on thursday - squad rotation is something that DM has never mastered in his 6.5 years at AFC.

I don't think Stand Free Leigh is anywhere near 100% fit, still nursing that ankle injury, but needs must so I  suspect he'll play, but want away defender McKenna, plus a few others. will be rested.

Is Lloyd Christmas Connor Mclennan fit yet? If so:-
