This one is meant to set you off on a journey of introspection. Is the lead character a good guy or bad guy? Do you pre-judge because of his colour? etc etc. It's very much more talkie than action which IMO ends up going virtually nowhere.

On the upside for those who feel it important, yes there are some tits. Full frontal as well.

William Foster is recently divorced, and his estranged ex-wife Beth has a restraining order against him. In addition, he was recently laid off from his job. His frustration grows when his air conditioning fails while he is stuck in traffic. He abandons his car and begins walking across Los Angeles to attend his daughter Adele's birthday party.

At a convenience store, the Korean owner refuses to give change for a telephone call. Foster begins ranting about the high prices. The owner grabs a baseball bat and demands Foster that leaves. Foster takes the bat and destroys much of the merchandise before paying for a soda and leaving.

Shortly thereafter, while resting on a hill, he is accused of trespassing private property by two gang members. Partially convinced by Foster's words, they let him live only if he gives them his briefcase. He refuses, one of the members pulls out a knife and Foster beats them with his baseball bat. They flee, leaving the knife behind and Foster picks it up.

Meanwhile, Sergeant Prendergast is on his last day, retiring from his job as a cop. The Korean store owner reports to him and his colleagues about the attack. He describes Foster, but as nothing but a baseball bat was stolen, it doesn't count as a theft.

Foster talks at a phone booth with his wife about their daughter's birthday. Despite her restraining order against Foster, he says he will come home for his daughter's birthday. The two gang members, now in a car with friends, cruise the streets and find Foster. They attempt to shoot Foster, but kill several bystanders instead. Foster shoots a trapped gangster in the leg and leaves with a duffel bag full of weapons.

In the meantime, his divorced wife calls the police. She gives a description, but the police don't believe that Foster is a criminal.

Foster is in a park where there are plenty of drifters, beggars and homeless people.A beggar complains about Foster walking "with two bags" in his park and begs for his briefcase. Finally convinced, Foster gives his briefcase to the beggar. The beggar is surprised to find that the briefcase contained only Foster's lunch. He rages and swears as Foster calmly walks away with his weapons bag.

A gangster's girlfriend who witnessed the drive-by-shooting event is interrogated by police. She gives Foster's description and Prendergast connects the convenience store incident and the drive-by-shooting event.

At a fast food restaurant, Whammy Burger, Foster attempts to order breakfast, but they have switched to the lunch menu. After an argument with the manager, Foster pulls a gun and accidentally fires into the ceiling. After trying to reassure the frightened employees and customers he won't hurt anyone, he relents and orders lunch instead of the breakfast which he initially sought and demanded, but is annoyed when the burger looks nothing like the one shown on the menu. He leaves, tries to call Beth from a phone booth, then shoots the booth to pieces after being hassled by someone who was waiting to use the phone.

Prendergast and his partner, detective Torres head into the traffic jam.He sees Foster's license plate "D-FENS".

Foster passes a bank where a black man is protesting being rejected for a loan application, saying that he's "Not economically viable".Shortly after, the protester is arrested by the police. The man exchanges a glance with Foster and says "Don't forget me" as he is escorted away and Foster shakes his head in agreement. Foster stops at a military surplus store to buy a new pair of shoes. The owner, a white supremacist, indirectly insults two men for their homosexuality and, when Torres asks about Foster, denies having seen him. After she leaves, he congratulates him for shooting "a bunch of niggers" at the Whammy Burger, and offers Foster a rocket launcher. When Foster expresses distaste for the store owner's bigotry, he pulls a gun, tells him he is "going to jail", and attempts to handcuff him, but Foster stabs him with the gang member's knife and shoots him dead. He changes into army fatigues and boots, takes the rocket launcher, and leaves.

Foster calls Beth from another payphone, and tells her that he is "coming home". Alarmed by his rambling speech and menacing manner, Beth calls the police again and the police stay there another short period of time.

Foster encounters a road-repair crew who are not working, and accuses them of doing unnecessary repairs to justify their budget. He pulls out the rocket launcher, but struggles to use it until a young boy explains how it works. The boy thinks that Foster is in a movie, which Foster calls "Under Construction". Foster accidentally fires the launcher, blowing up the construction site.

Later, on a golf course, Foster is trespassing private property. The owner complains about him trespassing and attempts to hit a golf ball into Foster's head but fails. Foster is furious and pulls a shotgun; he complains that "they should have children playing" in the huge golf course. He shoots a golf cart and the owner has a heart attack. As the pills for his heart condition were in the sinking golf cart, the property owner dies. Foster says, "Now, aren't you sorry for not letting me through your golf course ? Yeah, and now you're gonna die wearing that stupid little hat. How does it feel ?"

Then, further into the golf course, the manager is making a barbecue with his family.Foster arrives and complains about how he cut his hand on barbed wire trying to pass through the golf course. He takes the family hostage, but he lets them go.

Foster calls Beth and tells her that he is close to her home. Terrified, she flees with Adele. When Foster reaches the empty house, he realizes that they may have gone to nearby Venice Pier, but Prendergast and Torres arrive before he can go after them. Foster shoots and wounds Torres and flees, with Prendergast in pursuit.

At the end of the pier, Foster confronts Beth and Adele. Adele is happy to see him, but Beth believes that he has come to kill them. Prendergast arrives and intervenes. He acknowledges Foster's complaints about being ill-treated by society, but does not accept that as an excuse for his rampage. Distracting Foster, Beth kicks the gun away as Prendergast draws his revolver, insisting that Foster give himself up before he hurts his wife and daughter. Dispirited by the realization he is "the bad guy" of this story, Foster tells Prendergast he will shoot the police sergeant with a concealed handgun unless Prendergast kills him first. But Foster pulls a water gun instead, tricking Prendergast into shooting him dead. The dead body of Foster is seen Falling Down into the ocean as the film ends.

Nah. It's got to be Falling Down. That has the perfect level of petty.

"I'll have a breakfast"

"We stopped serving breakfast 30 minutes ago"

*goes on a rampage*

It was only 3 minutes he missed it by - he would have had no grounds to be pissed off, if he was 30 mins late FFS,  Would be as well being a week late.

3 mins does sound petty, but in fact I used to work in McDonalds and everything gets changed when you move from breakfast to main menu, it isnt easy to jump back and forth.

For example, the grills (space and timing) get changed to move from breakfast sausage patties to main menu burgers and 1/4 Lbers.

So, there you are.
