Is there any displays planned by fans to honour the great man?

Reckon Pittodrie will be full to the rafters to salute the great man, and rightly so.

There’s an anti Fergie banner in the pipeline to show disgust at how he abandoned Aberdeen while struggling mid table.

It’s a fair point. Rose tinted glasses on the Fergie era for most folk.

There’s also a FREE DAVIE TRUSCOTT one being knocked up.

Depending on Fergies calendar in it seems a strange time of season to hold the event

It will be so so embrassing if it's not a sell out

Why was this not arranged as a curtain raiser for the first home match next season rather than a wet February afternoon  when we a playing shit football week in week out

If we are continuing to play the way we are doing and Cormack is sticking with Glass etc it would then be a great opportunity to make it known we want him and Glass out the club. It would be hugely embarrassing for him sitting at Pittodrie next to Ferguson with the crowd chanting for him to get to fuck.

Any attempts to embarrass Cormack publicly should be taken.

It'll take more than one instance to get through to this brass necked compulsive liar.  A concerted effort is required.

Our best hope is for him to accept he's completely fucked up the footballing side and modify some of his previous decisions.

End game is he'll either do this eventually, probably through a face saving exercise of some sort,  or fuck off completely in a major sulk.

Probably want it done before he pops his clogs, so bit risky leaving it until August.

Without wanting to sound too macabre, it's maybe a pragmatic decision by the club.

He's past his 80th birthday and had to have life saving surgery back in 2018. I agree that the curtain raiser would have been the ideal way to do this but sadly with his age and health problems there's no guarantee he'd either still be around or well enough to carry out the engagement even just 7 months down the line

As someone born in the 90's ... Fuck Alex Ferguson

Sick fed up of hearing about the cunt.

Haha. To be fair I have been thinking too that I'm sick of the club constantly harking back to bygone days. Acknowledge past achievements but look to the here and now and the future.

Not won a league title in nearly 40 years, not won a Scottish cup in over 30...only so much mileage you can get out of 'Two Stars' (which anyone under 40 won't remember).
