I never said it was a con, all I said was that with golf betting the dead heat rules are a killer even if you have enhanced places, dead heats are a killer, took £1090 off a world cup bet of mines that won but hey ho.

Deadheat rules are pretty fair and common sense - if 2 a tied on same place you half your stake, 3 its 1/3 your stake etc, but bookies are still paying out on 100% the place ie its 2 x 1/2s that are placed gt paid 3 x the 1/3, 4 x 1/4 etc

I'm aware of how they work and why, just that they are a killer, wiped £1090 of a world cup bet, taken roughly 370 off of two golf bets in the past but it happens just got to accept it.

Absolute bollocks. If the conditions stay as they have been these players will destroy the course. Rock hard fairways giving them extra distance off the tee and watered greens making their shorter than normal approach even easier. Coming down a club or two to avoid going too long into a burn they wouldn't usually be able to reach anyway has no effect.

Is that right, how much water do you think the greens have had exactly?

And what happens if it blows 30 mph?

Hardest conditions in golf.

Snedeker, Koepka and Fleetwood have all already said the greens are soft. "Opposite of the US Open" was even used.

Aye sorry forgot wind only exists at Carnoustie.

Fair enough, i’m in Majorca drinking beer and watching women in bikinis most days at the minute. Haven’t been keeping tabs so shouldn’t have really commented.

Should be a cracking watch then in that case.

European : Fleetwood or McIroy. Can see them in a last day group feeding off each other.

Yanks: Spieth or Johnson. Hard to say if Kisner will cope. Kick in the arse on 18 last night might just be the reminder he needed and his has come early.

Apart from wind as always the other weather to watch is wet. Spieth and McIroy are all over the course but are getting away with it because the rough isnt playing tough at all.
