Injured: Reynolds and Hoban

Tansey and Considine return to the squad.

No need to tinker with the team though unless any players (McGinn, Devlin, Wilson) are not to be risked on the artificial pitch.

Lewis

Logan Devlin McKenna Lowe

Ferguson Shinnie

GMS Wright McGinn

Wilson

subs: Cerny, Ball, May, McLennan, Gleeson, Cosgrove, Considine

prediction: 1-0 Dons, McGinn

I'd imagine DM will have Considine in for Lowe if he's ready.

For additional solidity (rightly or wrongly).

Wright, when deployed to plug the gap at LB when Lowe went forward, he looked like a fish out of water there, and only sheer good fortune got him off the hook on a few occasions.

Also, being a tougher opponent and away from home, he will likely take Wright out of the starting XI, replacing with Ball.

Dom slots in beside Shinnie, Ferguson up the field.

Has he now sussed out Cosgrove is shite?

Or is there still a possibility he could return at any moment.

Not sure on that one.

I wouldn't be averse to going with the same starting xi again for this one, see if a bit of consistency with selection leads to more consistent results.

However we did get caught out in defence a couple of times last night and a better team might've punished us.  So if we did change things a little how about:

Lewis

Logan Devlin McKenna Shinnie

Ball Ferguson

Mackay-Steven McGinn Lowe

Wilson

If DM has learned anything, he will not play Considine. He always justifies his inclusion on the grounds of additional height. But Killie, through Stewart and Jones, play on the deck with fast feet. Nobody can forget how Stewart turned Considine at Pittodrie then did him for speed before chipping the keeper. In all his life, Stewart has probably never sprinted away from anybody.

I do think Lowe would suit that role better. His positional sense for a defender is awful.
