New (Ish) Aberdeen Podcast

Recommended Posts

In case you've not come across it as we've been relentlessly promoting it on Twitter, there's now a dedicated weekly AFC podcast for your listening pleasure. Hopefully you can overlook the amateur production values, take a listen to a couple of the shows, and let us know what you think either on this thread or via Twitter @bytheminAFC

Latest episode (number 7) covering the Partick game, Andy Considine, and our best value AFC transfers is available here: https://soundcloud.com/bytheminsport/btm-aberdeen-podcast-7

Or you can listen to any one of the past shows here: https://soundcloud.com/bytheminsport/sets/by-the-min-Aberdeen

Thanks for the feedback above, we're obviously aware that the sound quality is patchy, but as we record them via Skype calls many of the tools that would have a big impact on the sound quality aren't open to us. We've been tweaking things as the weeks go on, learning the balance between manageable file sizes and compression rates that ruin the sound so, while it's never going to get to the standard of any of the professional shows you might listen to we'd hope to make it so the sound quality isn't a distraction from the content.

On next week's show we've got ex Aberdeen, Scotland, and Oldmachar Academy alumni Gavin Rae. If you've anything that you'd like him to answer, just post it on this thread or Tweet us at @bytheminAFC

With all due respect. Fuck the Oldie scum right in the pussy.

Mon ih BODA

Well known that BODa is the very very dark and depressed end of Bridge of Don. They couldn't even hold onto Danestone during the great war, who are happy to cross the Parkway divide to make way to Oldie

Danestone is closer to Tilly. Oldie and St.Macher are welcome to the cunts.

Swimming pool FTW.

How old are you BBB?

Ask him why he , as a supposed Aberdeen fan , not only signed but accepted the hun captains arm-band.

Got a lot of time for Gavin and think he might even have done a job for us in McInnes' first full season but this is a question that's always been on my mind.

Same applies to a lesser extent Robson, being a youth at Rangers and playing for Celtic despite being a supposed Dandy. Although i'm fairly sure his Aberdeen roots are not as strong as was made out when he signed.

Robson was a hun.

Not sure what he is now that team is dead.

Latest podcast available to stream/download on the link below, or you could subscribe to future shows on iTunes/other podcast services. We cover the curious tactical and personnel choices in the two defeats last week, think positively for St Johnstone and reel off some memorable debuts for the Dons - good and bad.

If any of you have listened since the early shows, firstly thanks, but can I ask whether you reckon the sound quality is at an acceptable level now?

Latest show with Michael Grant of the Times and Fergie Rises author is available to download or stream from here: https://soundcloud.com/bytheminsport/btm-aberdeen-podcast-15-michael-grant-guests

He's relatively optimistic about Parkhead on Saturday but, as he freely admits, that's more about him having seen a lot of the Celtic defence rather than our last few performances.

Contains Fergie being a sneaky bugger anecdotes.
