The Cockney Don
Ronnie came back to beat Williams and now plays Selby in the semi-finals. Kyren Wilson was shit hot beating Judd Trump and now faces McGill. Crucible curse struck again, no one has retained the title there. Link to comment

Selby's lucky to still be in it. Should have lost to the Thai in the 2nd round, and struggled a bit in the 1st. Link to comment
The Cockney Don
Wilson & McGill, right pair of cheerful characters there. Link to comment
maryhilldon
McGill is a hard watch, cueball control is dreadful. Fuck knows how he's got to the semis. I don't think OSullivan or Selby have much to worry about in the final unless Wilson ups his game, and he's been mediocre as well. I've noticed Wilson is constantly brushing chalk marks off the cloth after shots, I think he's got OCD. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
I see some spectators are getting in for the final. Hopefully a start to getting some normality back to our sporting events Link to comment

Worded it wrong . Looks like Selby could beat Ronnie here, 10-7 up, first to 17 though. Wilson needs to lighten up and he'll become better, take a leaf from Judd Trump who used to be a right grump, lightened up then won the World title. Link to comment

OSullivan's comeback against Williams was impressive but doing it again against Selby who's a tough nut to crack in this format would be even more impressive. Link to comment

aberdeen1970
Mental finish. To both semis actually Link to comment
far's_the_bogs?
Not sure Wilson has the mentality to go the distance with O' Sullivan. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
No. You'd fancy Ronnie big time now. But it depends which Ronnie wakes up tomorrow. Link to comment

The Cockney Don
Mad snooker today. Ronnie was just smashing the balls about at times, and his first shot today he went in off, then bangs in some big breaks, insane. The final frame in the other semi had a total points of 186, just crazy. Link to comment
far's_the_bogs?
Compare the two deciding frames, one was two consummate professionals playing tactically and the other was two men at their wits end. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
6-2 O'Sullivan after the first session. Big session for Wilson tonight if he wants to stay in touch. Link to comment
The Cockney Don
Jimmy White retained the World Seniors Title beating Ken Doherty, was 4-0 down and won 5-4. Should have lost, but was some great potting from The Whirlwind. He beat Hendry 4-2 in the Semis earlier and got a 130 break. Link to comment
thedandydon
Stephen Hendry coming out of retirement to play on the circuit again. Think Ronnie had a point that there's still more interest in the veterans these days than any wave of up and comers. Link to comment
