I’ve been saying that all along.
He’s made out to be some sort of messiah by some.
We’ll see.
If he signs, he’ll be straight in on Sunday.

He is exactly what we need and will do for us what hayes did

He is hayes but with technique

Hearts just named Naismith as captain and also have Ikpeazu and Mclean so he has more completion for a start at Hearts than he would here where we only have Sam.

Probably just fancied living in Edinburgh to Aberdeen and its easier to go back and forth to Ireland.

Naismith is their best striker, getting on a bit and injury prone, McLean is probably a bit part player now and Ikpeazu only looks decent against us.

Boyce will be in their side right away.

McLean is a complete geriatric donkey and symptomatic of Levein’s tenure.

I for one cannot wait to see him falling over the ball on the right.

Can't see him being better than Hayes or McGinn, people getting a bit excited there.

If he gets anywhere close hell be some signing. Hope we play him left so he can use his pace rather than on the right cutting inside.

I'd move McGinn inside to support Cosgrove but he's more likely to get moved over to the right.

Wasn't Ikpeazu one of the gimps that were told if he could fix himself up elsewhere he was free to leave? Anyway I'm not exactly disappointed if we lost out on Boyce to Hearts. Would be epically funny if he snapped a cruciate in his debut

I think he'll play Kennedy in the 'No.10' role behind the striker. Played there a lot with St. J's.
What I would do is Hedges and Kennedy wide with McGinn in behind the striker.
Put Fergie back into the middle with McGeouch

The Northern Lights of old Aberdeen

Mean home sweet home to me

The Northern Lights of Aberdeen

Are what I long to see

I've been a wanderer all of my life

And many a sight I've seen

God speed the day when l'm on my way

To my home in Aberdeen!!

Is the correct answer.
And play the wide men on “their side”.
Don’t like “inverted wingers”.
Is Kennedy right or left sided? If he’s right footed play him wide right & Hedges wide left.
McGinn as a 10, as you said.

Mcginn #10 with them 2 wide is the obvious solution especially with mcginn getting older and not as fast. The wingers should be prepared to switch sides during a game if what ever side they are on isn't bringing us success.

I'd like to see McGinn get a run centrally but McInnes just shows no interest in trying him there

Him playing off cosgrove would benefit both players IMO. McGinn will always have an eye for goal so can play off cosgroves scrap or be supplier for big Sam. The only person that doesn't see that is Deek..

In all seriousness, the 'delight' at signing that absolute nomark diddy is confirmation of how far Scottish Footy has fallen in the last 20 years.

I’m not convinced either.
But it’s harsh to call him that.
For me, the jury is out but I wish him well

To be fair, two of our best players of late Hayes and shinnie have come form a bigger no mark club than st Johnstone

Plus Ferguson from the giants of Hamilton accies
