  1. Decent fixtures. Beat Motherwell at home in the first game and we leapfrog them into 8th. Beat St Johnstone at home in the next game and that should put to bed any talk of relegation.
  2. Crichton, that's who I meant, not fucking Dempster. Got my Leanne's mixed up, too distracted by the Swedish lassie on the left.
  3. I'm going to miss talking to you two, you're both much fitter than that Dempster lassie.
  4. But we'll need some Scottish players for the home grown criteria when we qualify for Europe by winning the cup.
  5. Then along the beach passed Pittodrie and up the Dee.
  6. We are closer to Motherwell and Hibs than Saints and County are to us. Three wins and a couple of draws and that best of the worst trophy could be ours.
  7. If the EPL goes to the wire there will be a helicopter in the middle of England waiting to fly the trophy to Manchester, Liverpool, or London. Have a title decider in Glasgow and the only things flying are police helicopters and air ambulances.
  8. Fucking pathetic, all because Scotland's shame can't behave themselves.
  9. I think we'll need to sign 8 - 10 players in Summer to make up for those moving on due to end of contract (perm and loan) and if Duk and Miovski are sold. Also worth noting that most of the Scandinavian leagues (Denmark the exception) finish their season at the end of the year, so these players become out of contract at the start of the January window. We might see more activity then as Thelin seeks to bring in players he is familiar with.
  10. This is the point where a bunch of drunken scousers in Belgium have a huge impact on Scottish football. The Heysel disaster in 85 had resulted in English teams being kicked out of Europe indefinitely (which turned out to be for five years). It was during that time the likes of Terry Butcher and other English players joined the huns. I don't think they would have if they'd been able to play in Europe for their English teams, not so much to do with what the filth were paying. If Heysel hadn't happened, Souness would have found it much harder to persuade these cunts North of the border.
  11. Start > Shut down or sign out > Shutdown Why don't you just switch off your laptop and go outside and do something less boring instead.......?
  12. Obviously County winning today isn't ideal and truth be told I'm more worried about them that I am about St. Johnstone. Fuck knows how Saints managed to beat us 2-0 at Pittodrie last time out. I can only assume Warnock was doing Levien some kind of old-timers favour. Today's County result also makes the whole VAR guessing game last weekend even more annoying. If we'd got the three points at Livi I'd be confident in saying we only need one more win to stay up.
  13. It is both frightening and depressing that we've been saying that every six months for the last three years and it is true every time. Assuming all the OOC players are leaving and the players we assume will be sold are indeed punted, we're looking at 8 or 9 signings minimum who are either first XI or expect to get on the pitch at some point during the regulation 90 minutes. I'm hoping with Jimmy T's rep for giving youth a chance that we see the likes of Bavidge and his cohort given more opportunities and they rise to the occasion.
  14. I understand your nervousness and I'm not saying it's impossible, but I can't see both getting the points swing they need. We'd have to lose every game. We're not banging them in with Leven in charge but we're much better defensively than we were, only conceding two goals in five games. Three points in the next league game will definitely help settle the nerves though. Even if each of the five games is a 0-0 snorefest we should have enough points to stay up. Don't forget Saints are only one point ahead of County compared to our five. If we were in Saints position then I'd be bricking it. The only team with worse form than them are Livi.
  15. There's no way both County and St. Johnston will go on the winning streaks they require to overhaul us. One of them maybe, but not both. St. Johnston have only scored 24 goals in 33 games. They're not going to suddenly turn into a wining goal machine. County have the second worst defence in the league after Livi. Well & Hibs will both be trying to finish as high up the league as possible because higher position means more prize money which means bigger budget next season. (Montgomery may even be playing for his job). No chance both will lose both their games to County & Saints. And that's before we've even kicked a ball. We've taken 8 points from our last 5 games. I reckon we can repeat that post split.
