Lets all laugh at Hearts

Well dinghyed, whinge away, you're a grown man. Move on and forget about them. Unless by some magic the jt's keep hickey and meschino and the big lad up front, I can't see them getting out of this if the manager is being a doucher. He's geam, must be like klopp, nope, he's just a usual know it all gerrie.

Hold that thought.

Now imagine £6.5m of it went to a small joinery company. Her brother's small joinery firm. Who'd never done anything like this before.

And her brother is a rabid Hibs fan. Who sings publicly about us going down. And sponsors Hibs games.

And the stand has a fans bar. And she puts her nephew in charge of it. Another rabid Hibs fan who is never off social media about Hibs. And it had a delayed opening. Cos we forgot to order a drinks license. From the club who forgot to order seats for the stand.

Now. You're starting to understand. And believe me. I could go on...

That's she's still here at all and there remains a Budge cult following, beggars belief.

That's comedy gold.

It's just fucking mental if what Skins says is true. As a fan of a rival club it is quite funny but if that was Aberdeen you'd be fucking raging. It just looks to me like thousands of Hearts fans have put in a lot of extra hard earned money over many years (money that is over and above the normal cost of following their team) and have basically had the cunt ripped out of them.

Skins

At what point are the FOH going to be able to buy Budge out? Was it an interest free loan or will she profit financially when she is finally bought out?

Will be interesting to see how it all works when Hearts eventually become fan owned.

My view on Budge. She talks about not even being a football fan, never mind a Hearts fan, til a few years ago. She invested 2 or 3 million of her 40 million to save Hearts. And her paperwork ensures payment terms certainly above the bank and that her interest payments were prioritised above other payments. But fine. Just good business sense. And it saved us from liquidation.

But since day two she's been awful. Ego driven. Call me Dr. She's not. Messiah poses. Statements hourly. Into the team photo. Holier than though. Through to Glasgow to say she'll change Scottish football. Damming our own fans regularly. Borderline love affair with Hibs and on about fucking joint shops at the airport.

A paradox in feeling duty bound to save a football club. But ultimately not getting it. To the point she started to talk about, the Genuine Fans. Alienating fans like me. Cos we know she means, ie. The ones who agree with me on everything.

Fucks up the stand. Royaly. Does it herself. Cos it's my club and I know everything. Including now construction projects. The brother I've mentioned.

All the football stuff you already know.

She can actually be fully paid off in Feb. Or retained til end of the season when FOH take over. But then she's said even with fan ownership she's happy to stay on as CEO. I think FOH are turning though and will worry contributions fall off with her retained.

Fan ownership is fine by me. But run by fans? Fans are assholes. All fans. Including ours. So that'd worry me.

I want a competent CEO like Burrows. Then leave him the fuck alone.

On upside. Stendel is the man and he is cleaning house. Now he's got Colt Seavers here too so he'll only get more ballsy. I like him. But he'll need a good couple of windows while we've got the likes of Damour and Naismith, etc on 4 year deals.

Is that real? They didn't seriously give Naismith a 4 year deal?

I kinda feel sorry for Hearts fans (the non deluded ones). They are being royally mismanaged back into the championship.

We complain about McInnes (and Milne) - at least we're not chapping on the door of relegation.

I remember their fans' arrogance when Romanov took over. They were worse than the fucking Huns, and I don't say that lightly.

Relegation suits them.

Do you think they had any sympathy when we were under McGhee’s “managership”?

Did they fuck.

They gloated & gloated.

Fuck Hearts.

Always disliked them.

Them & Hamilton to get relegated would be double delight.

Won’t happen though, they’ll pull away when the league reatarts.

The players Hearts are being linked with at the moment are really uninspiring. Jordan Green and Mamadou Thiam from Barnsley on loan. Both have barely made it onto the bench this season. I can understand why Hearts fans would be upset. They have apparently agreed a fee for a German striker called Hermann who plays in the 4th tier of German football. May turn out to be a Sam Cosgrove type signing but on paper it ain't looking good for Hearts. Stendel may have underestimated the SPL just like Heckingbottom did.

A bizarre interview aboard his own personal submarine.

This made me laugh

Seems Romanov's sub is the cursed deathtrap, K-19 (The Widowmaker) that they made that film about with Harrison Ford.

On its initial voyage on 4 July 1961, it suffered a complete loss of coolant to its reactor. With no backup system, the captain ordered members of the engineering crew to find a solution to avoid a nuclear meltdown. Sacrificing their own lives, the engineering crew jury-rigged a secondary coolant system and kept the reactor from a meltdown. Twenty-two crew members died from radiation sickness during the following two years. The sub experienced several other accidents, including two fires and a collision. The series of accidents inspired crew members to nickname the sub Hiroshima.

Statement from Hearts:

Heart of Midlothian Football Club can confirm that we were advised at 4.30pm this afternoon of the decision of the Joint Response Group to delay the return to training for clubs out-with the SPFL Premiership and that as a consequence, Hearts were required to cease training with immediate effect.

We requested a delay to the publication of that decision, while we discussed the implications.  While the situation was being discussed internally, the decision was published, some 20 minutes or so later.

While recognising the hugely complex decision-making processes involved in dealing with the Covid-19 crisis, the Club has nonetheless objected to this decision in the strongest terms.

To be clear, we had previously requested to return to training on 3rd August to fit in with our training plans and needs.  Along with a Betfred Cup campaign and Championship season to prepare for, we also have a Scottish Cup semi-final to participate in. We confirmed that we were able to comply with all the required protocols, which we have done.  All other Championship clubs were given the same opportunity to return to training.  They chose not to return at that time, as was their right.

Having received authority to return to training, we built our plans around the agreed date.  Our players and support staff were taken off furlough; contracts were signed with new staff and new players on the clear understanding that we would be in full training.  We signed contracts with service providers, including Oriam and our Testing company.  Testing has once again been carried out this week, with costs incurred, in anticipation of continued training.  Suffice to say that at a time when every football club in the land is managing its costs as tightly as possible, we have incurred significant “unnecessary” costs.

We have done nothing wrong and yet, once again, we are being disproportionately disadvantaged by a decision which has been described as “the fairest”.  We should not forget that this situation has come about, not because of Covid-19, but because of behavioural issues, not by our employees but by those of other clubs.  This delay reflects a lack of confidence that certain clubs will be able to comply and meet the required protocols.  How can it possibly be “fair” that we should be penalised?

When questioned in what way this was “the fairest way forward”, we were advised that some other clubs now wanted to return to training and it was deemed that by preventing them from doing so, without halting our training, would give us an unfair advantage.

Our fans are naturally incensed by this action, especially given what has transpired over recent months.  For the avoidance of doubt, everyone at the Club is equally incensed.  We are currently considering our options.
