BWG
Horrendous signing. We deserve bottom six. Link to comment
Tord31
I'll add to the posts suggesting I can't see him having come in as a backup. Viewed as being ahead of Devlin or McKenna is off or possibly even both Very unimaginative signing. Would much rather had Halkett, Shaughnessy or Hoban Link to comment
Studebaker-90
As has been suggested we tried to sign shocknessy who priced himself out of a move, Halkett wanted to stay in central belt and Hoban is permanently injured. Link to comment
Tord31
Hoban would be an investment/gamble. Taylor is a safe signing. McInnes cant be blamed for safe signings though given how badly he has recruitment in the last two years 1 Link to comment
BWG
Reckon an injured Hoban would still be a better option. He might manage to bleed on an opponent and distract them or something. Link to comment
tiktak
Reckon an injured Hoban would still be a better option. An injured hobbit would be a better option. 1 Link to comment

Shinniesta
If he's signed to replace Reynolds in the squad and McKenna is staying then I'm ok with him coming back. He knows the club and the league and isn't made of glass like the talented Hoban. But he should not be first pick. But as a back up option he's better than Reynolds and far more reliable physically than Hoban. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Combined 3m shoulder width!Worth splashing out on a 6th DNA pack for that wingspan I'd say Link to comment
Betty Swallicks
If we were in the market for a big useless cunt we should of signed a big useless cunt we'd never heard of. Its almost as if the club are miles out of touch with the support. Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
Trying to take the positives, we know what he’s about and he should be good enough for Lithuanian posties. And unlike Hoban we’ve got him in early for that job. If by two year deal what Derek really meant was get us to August, still in Europe till we work out what Villa are going to offer on the last day for Scotty and then we’ll see then I’m as on board as so I can be. But Taylor and Consi LB in a McKenna-less permanent back 4 is the stuff of absolute nightmares. 3 Link to comment
Guest the shepherd
Quite happy with Ash Taylor coming back to Aberdeen. He was part of a sometimes excellent Aberdeen side of 2016-17, and is safe and reliable providing he sticks to the basics and keeps away from trying to emulate Baresi or Beckenbauer. Welcome back loon. Link to comment
daytripping
Would have preferred Sam Roscoe to get his chance but Ash is a solid enough player, rather have him in than Considine. 1 Link to comment
Tord31
Hopefully if we make some quality central midfield signings he wont need to spray the ball about Link to comment
Oregon Red
well he is back. Not delighted but my best hope is that he is about the same as he left as a player. But i have my doubts he is a lower Guffy 4th division player now..and we can surmise he has went backwards..as Maynard was pumping in goals against defences in that league . Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
This^^^ He was basically the reason McLean ended up going as deep as he did. 1 Link to comment

TheRock
Frees up Considine for the left back slot. 2 Link to comment
Tord31
We are now well stocked on centre backs - I hope it does not end up being at the expense of getting the right quality in other positions. I'd have been ok with signing a more junior player as 4th CB Link to comment

MidWeekOnly
Ash gave us goals against sticky teams with his presence in the box, goals and assists. Defensively he's shocking, but does that matter against the team's we struggled against this season which cost us 2nd? The big money needs spend on chance creation. We scored 1 in 3 or 4 chances when we had Rooney, ran out winning by 3 or 4 most games, now we don't create that many chances in a game. Link to comment
Chewie37
Don’t think he’s a terrible signing tbh, he’s probably grown up a bit having had kids and having to play in a tough league (obviously debatable, but a physical league). So if he’s able to cut out the rush of blood and can play simply he’s going to do well Link to comment

Sonoftherock
Lazy. Lazy. Lazy. Probably alright as a squad player... but surely with a bit of effort we could have sourced someone better? Can we not be arsed? Should we now be preparing ourselves for the return of big Rogan? 2 Link to comment
ebbe
I’d rather have Hobban after moonwalking over a landmine. 1 Link to comment
ebbe
Stupid cow should be shot for using the #onceadon moniker. Desperate attention seeking nipple sucker behaviour IMO Link to comment
