Cormack Thread

Stewart Milne's tenure has been failure in the main.

He ran up a debt of £15m and was bailed out by the Donald's

He left Pittodrie neglected and it's now a shithole

He's appointed umpteen shite managers.

I could go on...

If this means that we show a modicum of ambition (within reason) and a bit of spine with the football authorities...

If it means we will not be seen as the subservient, quiet club that we are just now...

If it means there will be a general lifting of the apathy that permeates down from the present Board...

If it means no more drinking from the huns loving cup (ok that bit was an unnecessary dig)....

if those things happen, then I'm fine with it.

I've said to the McInnes haters, that change is needed at the top before we even think about McInnes.

We now have it.

I now wonder how safe Derek Mcinnes might be in the future, seeing as Milne was his number 1 backer?....

It'll come down to results and not how good he is a sucking Milnes dick.

Yanks at least know how to run a sports club.  You go to even a bush league event like Detroit City FC, in a ground that holds far fewer people, and it's a far, far better experience than Pittodrie.

Multiple merch outlets, beer stands, food vendors, dedicated section that encourages rowdiness, kids allowed on the field after the game to meet the players and get autographs... minimal policing required. The clubs here appreciate that the fans are their lifeblood, rather than a bunch of annoying wanks who need to pay their cash and shut the fuck up.

Would be delighted to find out that this rumour is true, though Cormack would have to overcome the Aberdonians' natural hatred for change and dislike for seeing people have a good time.

If he can figure out a way to get the fans on board then it would be a brilliant turn of events for the club.

I have a hard time believing any rumours of good news regarding AFC, though I never believed Rangers would die... so anything's possible.

First signing needs to be in line with our new status as top dog in Scottish football.

Any one of the French, Belgian, or Spanish national squads would probably be a step up from our usual signings.
