Yep if Liverpool want to pick up his wages but let him get out on loan back to where he had his best spell then I'm all for it.

Re entering the reserve league would be a logical decision. The better youngsters could play in that team along with the fringe first team players. Would also ensure they are available to the first team as/when required/merited. Our fringe players would be sharper too when called upon. Doesn't stop us loaning out two or three to good level clubs if they are likely to feature regularly there

We don't need to offload everyone all at once. Some of the current lot would ideally drop down as cover if/when better replacements arrive. I'd rather have 5 or 6 who are really good this summer than 12-14 punts. Losing 12-14 and bringing in the same number every summer is a risky business as we've found to our cost the last few years.

If only this could be sustained over a longer period. We would have a great league.

Unless they both beat us. Then they are both within one win of us. Plus they play each other so one or both will definitely pick up something there. We would also have to lose 2 or 3 of the other games as well though. If we beat either of them then it's probably done and dusted.

Every other country would love a title decider between two clubs chasing the championship. Says everything about our set up that they need to avoid scheduling them in case one of them might win the league when they play.

Hopefully they lose at Dens midweek as well. The meltdowns would be superb.
