I was trying to find a direct comparison and thought of The Warriors among others but that was more of a teen gang type thing. The "Purge" franchise where everyone kills anyone for anything is closer. Mix the two up, add in some tongue in cheek silliness and it's in that area.

A good watch and some laugh out loud moments. Very few titties , some violence

The one with Jamie Bell? Thought it was a bit boring that one. An okay time filler I suppose

The guy who spoke before the film said the screen height was equal to 6 double decker buses piled on top of each other.

 

 

Very difficult to think about that in real life as you rarely if ever see 6 double decker buses on top of each other. Easier just saying it's approx. 80 feet tall IMO.

Blood Fest.

 

Blood Fest is a horror movie festival for fans of the genre. The premise was that to survive you had to follow the horror movie rules. In the opening 15 mins or so I thought this was going to be in the mould of Scream or Scary Movie but turned out to be closer to The Cabin In The Woods - just not as good. Was surprised that the theatre was about half full, normally there's no more than half a dozen when i'm there. That said, the film was only showing once and for one night only so maybe that's why the attendance was higher. Some of them got a few loud laughs out of it but it left me cold to be honest.

Straight to DVD effort, but not bad all in all.
