Scotland wont qualify imo. The fact Northern Ireland may well make the playoffs or even qualfy should be putting into perspective how good we are

Hungary and Faroe Islands wouldn't exactly threaten Scotland. They still have yet to play Greece and Romania probably the two toughest teams in their group.

 

As said above, doesn't appear to be that difficult a group in comparison to our last two groups.

Cannot afford to lose against Poland and Ireland home and away now assuming Germany drop more points plus a win against Germany at home would help too. Worst case scenario is competing against the Germans for 2nd spot!

Thought we deserved to win; we were not brilliant but any Scotland goal is a good goal, any win a good win.

 

I had fancied us to get a point off the Polacks, but not so sure now that they beat the Boche.

Worst game I can remember watching. Terrible atmosphere and I made sure I was outside on the jets before kick off so I didn't have to suffer the anthem. What an affront. The lowden tavern is a hole, it was a choice of going in there for a pint after the game or queuing for about 3 hours with about 14,000 other folk to get on the tube, sack that. At one point the barman was handing out free bacon softies with nae top buns, rough like.
