  1. I do feel it has escalated to a level though where the chairman needs to be involved. There are appropriate times for a chairman to deliver updates, and I feel this is one of them given the unrest and lets be honest anger within the support. I wouldn't class this as micro managing, this is vital. As I said before as well this is not day to day, it couldn't be further away from day to day operations, this is appointing a new manager. That's what I'm trying to get across. I do get what you are saying at the same time, just my opinion.
  2. I wouldn't really class this complete failure / shambles as day to day to be honest. At a decently run club, this doesn't happen day to day, and IMO Cormack should be the one coming out and answering these questions.
  3. Exactly what everyone expected really isn't it. I don't blame Burrows for this shambles, he is still fairly new to the club and this was an ongoing mess before he even signed up. Unfortunately for him he's now in the middle of it though and has to prove his worth now. But by no means is this his fault, the damage was done. On a personal level it's no secret he's had a hard time since he was appointed, says a lot about his character the way he has managed to crack on. He may be the messenger at this point, but don't forget the man at the top who is completely responsible. Hiding behind your staff isn't a great look.
  4. I'm getting clean from all this manager shit, chucking it. First step is admitting I have a problem
  5. It's going to be a fucking tombola at this rate
  6. One way or another the supporters need an update. We were told that they were in advanced stages weeks ago, which clearly was utter bullshit. I don't think they expected to be turned down by so many managers and thought they would be able to appoint their man within the week. We need a chairman who is capable of running a football club. I'm actually not against Cormack staying within the club, but commercial / supporter engagement is where he would belong. Some good initiatives over the past few years, but none of that matters when you don't provide on the pitch.
  7. Nobody decent wants to manage us, and I don't blame them. I think this will end up being Lennon, he'll be the best of a bad bunch unfortunately.
  8. Wake up, get ready, go to work, make a coffee then refresh AFC chat every half hour. Good to have a routine.
  9. I was fed up of this last week, not even sure what I am this week.
  10. What an absolute embarrassment this lot are, constantly linked with names then every one by one ruling themselves out. Irony of it is the fans don't think they are good enough to manage us, yet they think we are too shite to be managed.
  11. Would O'Neil's lack of experience with signing players be something to be concerned about? With his International career taking up most of his managerial time, Stoke has been his only real club. Signing players cant be much of a strong point for him. Think that's what Mcinnes did really well, a really good man manager, somebody that players found it hard to say no to and wanted to play under. Foreign boy gets my vote any day at this point in time, we've already shown over the past couple of seasons that there is talent out there in Europe, a foreign manager's knowledge of potential player suited to Aberdeen could be a massive advantage going forward. Miovski / Duk (ken he's had a shite season, however) being a great example of this.
  12. Nah min there is, I know they are a bunch of incompetent cunts but they ken fine who it is going to be. Would expect that they are ironing out the details now and hopefully we'll know who it is by mid week.
  13. To be honest I don't actually think the O'Neil link is strong enough for it to be him. I reckon if it was it would already be agreed and would have gotten out in the press. For him to say he will consider any offers at this stage just doesn't sit right with me, surely we would be at a much more advanced stage than this with him. They've got absolutely everyone guessing here, They may be shite at their jobs but my god the FMB can keep a secret.
