  1. I haven't seen him in action but I have heard some stories, not that I'll tell you like, nosey!
  2. Cruciate it is then, poor lad.
  3. I'm not really seeing this better style of football, Motherwell game apart it's been pretty rubbish, none of the performances as good as the Killie cup game which really should have set the standard for the players but they've all reverted to type.
  4. I think you are misremembering as we also signed Hector, Weaver, Zola and Wylde, biggest difference between now and then is that the side McInnes inherited had a better spine to it. I also think people are underestimating the change in style that's going to happen with Thelin, there's also nothing in our squad to go "oh he could kick on next season" so already we are limited with what we can do when the starting players aren't at their best. Looking at the squad I think it's safe to assume that Roos, Gartenmann, Barron, Duk, Hoilett and Miovski will move in the summer, we simply do not have the squad to then only sign 3 or 4 key players, especially when as you say above guys like Gueye, Morris, Richardson and McGarry are not good enough, you can't then expect them to turn into good players that can contribute enough. On Thelins style of play he likes to have wingers we don't really have any, our midfielders don't appear to be capable of playing his pressing style, along with that style comes injuries too, there's no way our squad is good or deep enough for it.
  5. No it's aimed at the folk saying we should only sign 3 or 4 good players. This window is the most important one in a long time, we need to be smart with free and load transfers as well as spending good fees on the right type of player. I honestly can't believe some folk think we're only 3 or 4 players short, we're away to get a manager who plays a totally different style to what most of our players are capable of playing.
  6. Why do I have to listen? I don't recall making a guess on what his value could be, I guess we'll get over 5m for him, the real value will be in add ons, I also wouldn't be surprised if Miovski and the club already know where he's going so it doesn't matter what I think or what other no mark fans on a forum think.
  7. It's a bit naïve to think only 3 or 4 new signings would make a difference, that number was what we needed in Jan, now it's approaching the summer and it's very obvious that we need a whole new defence along with a new midfield.
  8. Wasn't directed purely at you, many folk have said on here that the manager needs to know the Scottish game. My idea would be to give any new manager a great platform so that they can do what they are good at, it shouldn't matter much if they know the league or not. On the final bit, is that really the case? Often it's players not buying into what that manager wants, the Italian at Killie was slaughtered because he wanted them to do work without the ball, other managers chased out of clubs because they wanted a more professional atmosphere and for there to be days where team train twice a day. The fact is, too many people in and around the Scottish game are backward cunts, scared of change, even though doing the same thing over and over keeps failing as well.
  9. Why are we acting like this league is some sort of holy fucking grail of football, a good manager will do well in the right setting whether they know the league or not.
  10. We needed him for the quota though, goalkeeper an easy spot to fill for those rules. I'd be playing him in the remaining games, club have known Roos is away for a while now, lets actually see if he's any use.
  11. I wonder if fans of other teams across the world all shit themselves at the prospect of a foreigner becoming their manager in case he doesn't know that countries 'game'.
  12. Then you've got no competition for the No1 which often result sin them becoming complacent as there's no challenge to their place in the side.
  13. Slowly take off some of the weight throughout the training camp but looking to take off a lot in the last 7-10 days, so that when they rehydrate they should pile some on quicker. So many methods now as well, a lot of fighters will water load, almost everyone of them will try to take 5-8kgs off through sauna and salt baths, it's not good like but at least these boys make some money from it.
  14. Shinnie letting us down once again, ONE OF OUR OWN, though.
