Don't think it's a nice theory at all. It would be a huge gamble and this game is too important to be doing that. What if we get a couple of early injuries and Griffith's spent by half time? Agree with starting dykes. Link to comment
Reed or deed
Probably looking at the usual 2-1 or 1-0 agonising defeat in this. Hope not like as we are due a bit of luck. Get Griffiths started, the cunt scores goals. He doesn’t have to be fully fit as most of the game is likely to take place in our box. Link to comment

Not going to let bias blinker me on that but still hope Considine gets the nod as he’s earned it in his two games to contribute to a third clean sheet & get us through. Romance & dreams & all that. Be harsh as fk on him to bin him now Kieran Tierney plays LCH for for Arsenal. So he must be in the mix. That's his position for his club team in the EPL. Personally I think he would normally get the nod... however could be a mismatch physically if Mitrovic continually peels off and targets Tierney. Having said that, Tierney is doing a great job for Arsenal in the EPL and plays against big, strong strikers of that quality week in, week out. Link to comment

I'd have Griffiths on the bench. If we need a goal with 10 mins left, just fling him on. Doesn't need to be fit... a chance is going to fall to anyone in the box, you want Griffiths on the end of it. 2 1 Link to comment

An achieving Scotland squad will mean no changes at league level as they will believe their set up is working. Then there's the added loss of integrity to any dons fan who can cheer on Ryan Jack etc. You're either a dons fan or you're not, you can't do both. It's also great watching the glengarry lot cry. I'll be rooting for Serbia. 4 Link to comment
Henry
A bit too obvious for my liking, but you'll maybe catch a tiddler. 1 Link to comment

I have a major problem supporting any team with Ryan Jack in it. Would imagine there are quite a few Dons fans with similar feelings. Link to comment

Ramandu
Doubt Considine will be in Clarke's mind for the Serbia game. He's there for the Israel and Slovakia games, as there's no way it'll be the same 11 for all three games. Wouldn't be surprised if some of the usual suspects will pick up 'a wee knock' after Thursday and head home. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Id say Robertson, Tierney, Jack and Macgregor's flights will be booked already. Link to comment
Parklife
I think there may well be some sort of "understanding" between Clarke and the clubs in regards to certain players. Link to comment

If we beat Slovakia on Sunday I can see the entire squad apart from Considine pulling out of the Israel game. Israel 0 Considine 1 1 Link to comment
Guest
Slovakia beat Norway to get here, we squeaked past Israel. Norway would pump us as well. Hate to piss on the cornflakes but everyone is a bit optimistic I think. Link to comment

Went to the euros in France a few years back and it was a brilliant week away. Games in 4 different cities. Tremendous. It'd be so Scotland to qualify for the shittest tournament ever, when no cunt can go because of Covid. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Scotland are going to win. Qualify for first time in decades for major tournament & tournament will then be canceled due to COVID Link to comment

Tyzo_1903
Two home games and an away trip to Wembley isn't that bad? Optimistically thinking there might be some normality next summer. Although hampden is crap, decaying relic of a ground, Murrayfield, or either of the ugly sisters grounds are a better option for Scotland games imo, the atmosphere is pish at hampden, too far away from the pitch. I don’t think hampden is crap Iv been there when there has been some brilliant atmospheres there. Times it’s crap is when it’s half full and the games should never have been there Link to comment
