I said after the sevco debacle that if we won our next three games that game would be long forgotton.

No injury or suspension worries but should we start thinking about rotating the team for the next couple games?

Lewis

Logan Taylor Reynolds Shinnie

Jack McLean

Christie Pawlett Hayes

Rooney

subs: Alexander, O'Connor, Considine, McGinn, Stockley, Storey, Wright

prediction: 2-1 Dons

crowd: 11,900

We need to make sure of the 3 points in this game and hope Celtic win at the snakepit on the same day. That will guarantee second place then we can start thinking about resting players for the remaining league games (with the exception of our trip to the snakepit where McInnes must play his strongest side we need to go all out to beat them down there and finally break that 26 year hoodoo).

But then you're playing second stringers against our forthcoming cup opponents? Hence my comment above. A lot depends on result tomorrow.

I'm probably being contrarian as fck but beating Sevco Rangers might not require the "strongest" team tbh, sometimes a change of personel and style can be just as effective? eg, play someone more mobile up front and rest Rooney.

No idea why you feel the need to drop Considine?

That defeat to rangers won't be forgotten unless it's avenged at ibrox and then again in the final if those bastards get there

Yep i'd do something similar.

Basically the back 4 don;t need rested but the others probably could all benefit form a week rest at some point.

Use Christie in every game for one thing and that'll allow us to rest Hayes, McGinn or Mclean.

I dont think there is any point playing Pawlett. Why bother, his mind will be on playing in England and not getting injured.

We should wrap up 2nd before rotating. Once that's sorted, blood the youths.

Need to think ahead to cup final as 2nd place is foregone conclusion. At the back, no point in playing Taylor in cup final, absolutely hopeless unless the ball is 6ft in the air. Hayes is carrying some sort of injury so leave him out too. McLean potentially our key player so would give him a break for this one too.

After a nervy cup win I'm hoping we can kick on and wrap up second next week (as others have said). Personally I dont see Deek changing the side for the hammer throwers game. Going to say 2-1 win for us. With 2nd hopefully secured I'd say bar Shitebrox away and the Tims at home we rotate the squad a little bit. Give guys like Ross, McLennan and Wright a decent run out. Maybe give Pawlett one last game in a Dandies shirt but wouldn't really give him much game time, as people have said he's probably more concentrated on starting at MK Dons and nae picking up an injury here before he goes.

2-1, Rooney and Hayes to get the goals for us with Chris Kane to score some shite tap-in for them

:wtf:

Kenny Miller believes he will still be playing Premiership football next season even if it is not with his current club Rangers. Aberdeen and Hibs are interested in the 37-year-old striker whose preference is to remain at Ibrox.

The sun newspaper at it again.
