I'm a massive AIC fan, but not got the new album yet, though the singles are promising. That and the new Dream Theater and Devin Townsend albums are must buys for me next.

Absolutely sublime Alice In Chains footage here...

I know there's a few fans on here @sooperhanz @cheesepipes

First ones It Ain't Like That then Would? Make my penis stand very erect...

Dark and grubby and grimy and sludgy as FUCK. Powerful energy.

I'd have bitten the head off a live rooster to have attended those shows.

Enjoy.

Utterly magnificent.

I am instantly fortified when i watch that shit.

Veronica Zemanova was the ultimate in czech paps.

Sorry, off topic, but a pleasant thought nonetheless.

Stumbled across this. Some sweet guitar work and decent vocal.

Football Ma would have been a better name.

I've been listening to Stereophonics a lot these days.

Fake gravelly voiced gap toothed Welsh gypsy but the dude can tell a nice story.

I mean, he doesn't have a great singing voice for rock really, but it's good enough, and the quality of lyric, the delivery and energy of the band keeps you bopping along.

Current album - The Cribs - The New Fellas

Won't be much love for it here, pretty much just the 29-34 age bracket that would've been into it

Great live, newer albums haven't been great.

Soccer Mommy is very good, Henry Rollins and Iggy are fans and it was through one of their radio shows I came across the tunes.

I've been going back to the debut album from Last in Line this week. Given that it was effectively Dio's backing group reunited, expectations were high, but it's a fine album in its own right. I look forward to the second one, though Jimmy Bain will be sadly missed.

Hanging out their old love letters on the line to dry

That's such a great line.

Watched some open mic last night. Wasn't overly impressed. Time to dust down the axe and relearn seminal Brent classic 'freelove'

I don't get the hate for SC

I remember I hadn't actually heard it and when reading Slash's book, he talked of standing in for squire. I thought wtf why would he want to play the first album.

Then I put on SC and the self titled was ditched forever.

Though rarely listen these days, it's still great to here Driving South in the bar from time to time. Great riff

Love spreads has one of my favourite baselines too, actually

For Whom The Bell Tolls takes a lot to beat on bass though

In short they made a cunt of it .

Love that album (as I do with their first)

The Music Hall gig in 95 for the Second Coming tour is one of my favourite gigs

Amazing

Maddix on drums (not Reni)

I doubt youngsters nowadays will ever experience the same atmosphere at a gig

Another new track from Moz.

Jobriath song from his coming covers album. Not as great as the 2 that preceded it - Back On The Chain Gang & It's Over, but those standards were so very high anyway.

I likes it.

I like it immensely but you can tell squire was in charge and that he was heavily into led zeppelin at the time. Apparently the rest of the band thought that they would give him this album to indulge him then they could all contribute to the next one. Then he walked out.
A lot of IB’s first solo album were late era roses songs (eg ice cold cube) and they were decent too. Certainly better than that all for one travesty they released. Reformed, promised an album and instead delivered two songs. No b sides just 2 songs in about 5 years. Pricks.
