Tax man, got fucking screwed this last week. Got an agreement today after a hundred times trying to get through to them but utter cunts. Does you no good trying to pick up ad hoc overnight shifts at the harbour or scrape any work when on benefits, should have just sat on my arse and did nothing. I never even needed the money back then, just thought it was the right thing to do. Hit for 5 year old overpayments I have no recollection of. Live and learn.

Letter said it was a first and final warning, would change my tax code to take up to 20% of my wage or pass to a debt management firm If I didn't call to come to an agreement. Could go IVA but even though it's a lot of money it's pretty manageable, won't really affect my life. Just shit they wait 5 years to tell me, I was PAYE all that time, never hid anything. Is what it is. I'm over it, agreement made, cancel my lottery direct debit and it pretty covers it.
