Long ass balls...?
Long ball Dad. That's your new name.

You best retract that name son - tight and silky smooth.

I guessed @Dad was late 40s which he took as a compliment . so I'm guessing mid 50s.

Anyway.,, after my Sinatra post yesterday I've been listening to him today. Enjoying it tbf.

Spotify/Sonos is fucking tremendous.Too many to list. Stuff you would never listen to or would normally pass you by at the touch of a button.

Listening to some Lynryrd Skynrd after @cheesepipes recommendation. Good ol' bluesy rock . See also ZZ Tops real dark, bluesy stuff. Ace.

A bunch of EP's I wasnt aware of, by Isis (the band not the extremists).

Delighted naturally at finding a bunch of stuff by a now defunct band; but also a touch disappointed at what a uselesss cunt I now apparently am.

Earlier in my life career, I'd be on top of that sort of shit within a few days. Too much shite clouding the mind these days - the perils of endless choice.

Owing to my purchase of Sonos Boost, I bagged myself a 3 month free subscription to Deezer; home of 53 million (terrific) songs, podcasts and so on (whatever that is).

I'll keep yous abreast of my experience.

Never get any electro vibes on Dad? Give 'Water from a Vine Leaf' by William Orbit a go. Good for your stone.

I go through spells son - but ach I dunno; just never been much of an electronica kind of guy...if anything the odd song rather than getting into an artist/band.

But I certainly shall son - my ears are open. I tell you actually - yon Thom Yorke side project thing Atoms for Peace; I enjoyed that a bunch recently (whilst completely trousered; thumbs up)

That fucking Beverly Hills song; a pile of fucking SHITE

Otherwise I enjoy Weezer a bundle.

Deezer hooked me up with the Melvins there last night (via Dinosaur Jrs mix); ashamed to say I paid them fuck all heed up until now.

Terrific.

Check out Shellac Pops.

Terrific stuff. Steve Albini the producer dudes band. Seen them at Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh. He ties his guitar round his waist like a belt when he plays. Weirdo.

Slint also good. You probably know them though.

Terrific.

Still don't know what Sonos is.

I've an image in my head of some decrepit old cunt sitting in a beanbag with massive headphones on. Seasick Steve typing away in to a handset smoking blunts.

Fuck it. Fair dos.

It's still a tune, just needs played seldomly as to not drive yourself crazy.

Island in the sun is beautiful.

Some older weegie chaps in the local on Saturday night suggested King Crimson to me, not a big fan, poor mans Brian Jonestown Massacre imho, thoughts.

Minus the headphones son - that's the wonder of a speaker in several rooms: the same terrific sound emits all over the house - I can traipse about, ne'er missing a beat. It's the fucking bomb.

It's still a tune, just needs played seldomly as to not drive yourself crazy.

Ach aye - just compared to other weezer output, it fucked me off. Strange counter is young rivers.

And admittedly I'm no a big crimson fan boy tbh - did enjoy hearing the obv, stuff like 21st century schizoid man and the like.. Ill branch out to the rest, so as to offer a more detailed opinion.

Just think HAL from 2001 Space Odyssey.......

Check out Honky dad.

Jeff Pinkus from Melvin's on bass and vocals with Bobby Landgraf now of Louisiana heavyweights Down on guitar.

Played the Moorings a while back on a Sunday night. They turned up late, yours truly helped them find a parking space for their tour bus and they rocked the half empty house like they were playing a sold out arena.

Snorting Whisky

Or Walking on moonshine

To start off with.
