If anyone wants to tell me the twist at the end of fractured feel free to post here or PM me as I turned it off way before then.

Basically his daughter died when she fell into the hole. When he hit his wife she dies as she impaled her head on an iron rod.

He put them both into the book of his car, drove to hospital and went in himself. So aye he basically imagined the whole bit about the hospital having his wife and kid.

It ends with him killing a few security guards and escaping in his car with some patient who he believes to be his wife.

As previously stated above, it's utter pish.

Official Secrets

Based on true story of burd working for GCHQ who leaked a memo before the start of the Iraq war. It's a solid enough tale if a bit staid but I'll forgive that as it shows politicians and governments up for the type of vermin they are.  Does more to raise the hackles than the likes of Chris Morris' The Day Shall Come.

Pressured into the role imo

There must come a stage when they don’t give a fuck anymore, although Chevy Chase seems to be the exception to the rule.

Fridge - do you want to read this script? No I am a multi millionaire how much are the paying me for this utter horse shit movie? Not giving a flying fuck what the plot is just tell me what you want me to do. Deal, just feed me the lines and give me the cash.

Sorry We Missed You.

Following on from I, Daniel Blake it's a further slice of bleakety bleak bleak from Ken Loach, this time around focussing on the issues from the zero hours contract workplace. So the blurb goes anyway. I didn't get it that way though. It's more kitchen sink drama than anything else. Guy gets a gig as a self employed courier given the more grand title of franchisee which actually means jackshit. I should know as I walk in those footsteps. His wife is a home help, a worthy but equally shit job.

The movie was of interest to me as I have the same job and was curious to see what Loach was going to do with it. Not sure what anyone else would get from it though. It's not as if folk are unaware of what life is like out there.

Is it accurate? I recognised some of the storylines from newspaper articles and the working practices certainly represent stuff from Amazon and DPD but while the basics have some legitimacy overall it becomes more bleak than it needs to be.

Went to watch Joker tonight, absolutely awesome movie and lived up to its hype and my own expectations.

Forget the bollox about 'excessive violence', compared to most films these days I thought it was tame.

Affa dark topic of mental health throughout also touching on some of the current issues facing Society.

And just give Joaquin Phoenix the best actor award now.

Loved the use of the gary glitter track 'Rock and Roll Part 2' just to piss off the UK snowflakes I hope.
