I know Devrish is keeping an eye on the Charlotte Fakeovers twitter account but if anyone else wants some epic reading it's well worth keeping tabs on. https://twitter.com/CharlotteFakes

Basically the account holder has been leaking emails + audio clips and general info from the rangers board and their PR advisors. Disgraceful stuff.

The mainstream media haven't published any of it because they're, apparently, scared the info has been obtained illegally and, if republished, would get themselves in hot bother with Leveson. However, you just don't know how many editors would be exposed as being 'trusted editors' to the rangers.

Are you aware of any blogs providing an overview of it? Tried to follow this, but there's that many epic email conversations between folk I've never heard of, I couldn't tell what was going on.

The Guardian certainly seems to think it's a big deal though: http://www.theguardian.com/media/greenslade/2013/jul/26/data-protection-rangers

No not aware of any blogs, there's not been much publicity so i've just been reading through as much as I could. Interesting that David Murray used a fake name and fake email address... Jack Irvine seems to be the main protagonist, he was the PR advisor during both Murray and Whyte's tenure.

(The) Rangers seek clarification on transfer embargo

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23542094

I thought this was an article about The Rangers questioning how they are managing to field new players whilst they are under transfer embargo...nope, they are moaning again because they have been unfairly treated, why don't the Pars and the Jambo's also get year long bans for going into administration and cheating by paying players using secret EBT's....(they may have forgotten to mention the last bit...)

Here's their clarification.

Hearts and Dunfermline are existing clubs not having been liquidated.

You are a new club and honking piss ridden wankers.

Fucking hun retards.

Their dead club received the original transfer embargo for bringing the game into disrepute.

Which they did by not paying PAYE or NI for a whole year (cheating tax dodging (deed) cunts). :tax::rangers:

The new club inherited that embargo as a condition of the SFA blowing apart the rules to allow them to take up the entirely defunct oldco's membership.

What a bunch of bleating, ignorant fuckwits.

Can't they just shut the fuck up and get on with it?

THE Board of Rangers confirms that, on 1 August 2013, it received a notice requisitioning a General Meeting of shareholders (the "Requisition")

The Requisition puts forward resolutions for the removal of Craig Mather, Brian Stockbridge and Bryan Smart as directors of the Company and the appointment of Paul Murray and Frank Blin as directors of the Company.

The Board is verifying whether the Requisition is properly constituted and further announcements will be made as appropriate.

BBC Radio Scotland's Charlie Mann at Station Park

"On the day that former chief executive Charles Green, having returned to Ibrox, piled pressure on manager Ally McCoist by demanding the lifting of a cup as well as the League One title, Rangers are out of the League Cup after being beaten by Forfar"
