Guest
Not a surprising decision but a disappointing one. Contracts for players are normally a reward for them playing well, but last season was by far the worst under DMc. Should've assessed the situation at the end of the season, this guy is absolutely bulletproof and as many have pointed out before, that can not be a good thing going forward. Link to comment
Bamber
Rewarding failure, ace. if failure is getting european nights 5 seasons running maybe we should have go back to challenging for trophies again - like the bottom 6 trophy 2 2 Link to comment

HairyPie
Finishing below Kilmarnock over a league season is failure. No argument possible against that. 5 Link to comment
Big Hat Logan
Great news. Amusing to see all the clueless, torn-faced, stuck in the 80’s fuds having a greet as well. McInnes is the best manager in the league. 2 2 Link to comment

DelMonte
To be expected. Not worth pishing your pants over. He's doing a good job if you're being realistic despite the cracks that were beginning to show last season. Link to comment

Too early to tellHeckingbottam - Great start but then fell away. Too early to tellLevein - NoWright - NoRobinson - Potential, but hard to callRice - Great start but then fell away. Too early to tellHolt - Not yet, needs more experienceGoodwin - Great start to his managerial career, has potential but will be interesting to see how he fares with St mirren. Was a welt of a playerFerguson and Kettlewell - Don't know enough about them. So as it stands I think McInnes deserves to continue in the role 2 Link to comment
Mr Brightside
I can't think of any potential managers who would be better than McInnes. He has done a great job at Aberdeen- especially comparing it to the 10 years or more prior to his arrival where we were lucky not to be relegated at times. 1 1 Link to comment
V for Vendetta
No issues with the contract extension, hopefully he gets more out of the tean trophy wise over the next couple of seasons. Link to comment

He's doing a good job if you're being realistic despite the cracks that were beginning to show last season. Last two seasons, lets be honest. On balance he's probably built up enough good will to get an extension. Still a bottling hun cunt though. Link to comment
Durrant Dived
Put down the bag oh glue If anyone has been sniffing glue it is you. Last year wasn't great but to think McInnes hasn't improved our club since he took over is mental. Constantly at Hampden, consistently in Europe; If you want to blame anyone for our failure blame Milne because McInnes doesn't have any more money to improve the squad. He's doubled attendances and the turnover since he came to the club and believe it or not he is the reason many has signed, or stayed at the club for a few more years before leaving. Didn't see McGhee Brown Paterson and only a couple of times Jimmy managing to convince our top player to sign a new contract. 1 Link to comment
Ernie McCracken
Good news. If half the players he has signed turn out to be decent, we should have solid footing for next season. Link to comment

HairyPie
So the issue is you don’t want him to be paid a decent wage rather than have him sacked? Weird. What the fuck are you on about? He is already remunerated well. I don't think he should get improved terms immediately after a season where a club with half the budget finished above the team he is managing. In other occupations he would be getting a warning. I don't know if you watched the football last season, but its not particularly easy on the eye. He could be forgiven for slipping two places in a season if the team were a joy to watch. Link to comment
