Sevco Thread

Sevco are fucked - have loans against assets- too much debt - King has no money and it will be admin soon.

Same old story we have heard since they were re-incarnated. As much as I believe the stories two things are true:

1. They will always manage to re-appear in some form or another.

2. We will consistently lose to the new incarnations 90% of the time

Agreed they will always exist but in the short term they would be weakened.

At some point somebody somewhere will stop the complete mismanagement and get value for money from the extra £10Million or so of gate receipts they have over us and then it gets harder for us to rely on them dropping stupid points in the league to stay competitive with them. Plus if they do get their act together it no doubt triggers Celtic spending more money and before you know it the two of them disappear over the horizon. Anything that stops that happening for as long as possible is what we need.

Plus the comedy value will be something else.

the sevco incarnation needs european group stage football to survive. without it they will always be waiting for a loan, season ticket money, player transfers etc. As we very well know ourselves it is so difficult to break into the elite (top 100 club my arse) and at some point they will need to realign their business model with being pish.

RANGERS have rejected a FOURTH bid for Alfredo Morelos as two South American clubs also made approaches.

Chinese side Beijing Renhe haven’t given up hope of landing Morelos, 21, before the close of the Chinese transfer window on February 28.

The Super League side had THREE offers rejected last month and now SunSport understands a fourth — thought to be around the £9million mark — has been tabled.

Two teams in South America have also contacted the Ibrox club in the last 48 hours, making their interest in the Colombian clear.

There is not a hope in hell that A) a club will be willing to pay that amount of money for him and B) Rangers have turned down 9 Million. Not a fucking chance.

From Twitter

Looks like Alfredo Morelos is edging closer to move to China. The chinese refusing to take no for an answer

Rangers set for £11m for the striker. Contracts not agreed yet but this one certainly looks like it may be happening or could

Nothing definite, One to watch certainly

Former Rangers captain Barry Ferguson fears James Tavernier won't be at Ibrox long enough to cross off his bucket list of ambitions: captain the club; win a Treble and play in the Champions League for Rangers. "If he continues to improve at the rate he has done this season, I honestly don't think he'll be around for that long," says Ferguson. (Daily Record)

From the BBC gossip.

I don't think Methuselah will be around that long.

So using smaller numbers its similar to this

Joe Average has taken a £3000 loan for a payday lender and has £12000 of loans from his parents who cant loan anymore

Joe Average went along to antiques roadshow with a item he bought six months ago for £1000

Steve the dealer offers him £9000 for the item

Joe Average tells Steve no way

and now in the real world....................................

Both PMG and JJ have new blog articles regarding the huns er, "overdraft facility" (read: highly onerous loan) with Close Brothers.

It is based on new content accessed through here: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/SC425159/charges/mLBWBxLf49wYxVpcq5n1pX_hCbE

It seems that Close Brothers have increased their grip on the subhumanity based in Govan. And so in addition, to edminston house and the albion car park, Close Brothers now have a charge over the stadium PA system, the large stadium screens, stadium catering equipment and stadium wifi equipment.

JJ estimates the total security pledged against the onerous 3m loan now stands at slightly over 5.5m in assets. He also states that the buns are paying 4% more than Close's standard onerous loan terms.
