Where Are They Now

Ryan Fraser seems to be struggling to get a big club. See he is liked with Newcastle and even Celtic today, a far cry from one of the big English clubs in terms of 'glory' and big money. I can't help but think that not playing for Bournemouth was a huge mistake- they were relegated by one point and he could have been the person to win that point for them, save them from relegation and be a hero, almost guaranteeing a big contract. Instead he wouldn't play and in turn no big club seems interested.

Aye it seems he's burned his bridges with a lot of managers. Either that or something has fallen through that was maybe lined up pre covid.

99.9% of players going out of contract extended their contracts to see out the season this year. He was one of the few high profile players to refuse.

Apparently he's being difficult with Newcastle as well.

I saw it quoted in the press that he wanted to move further north (within England) to be closer to his family in Aberdeen. Supposedly Everton were interested prior to him refusing to play for Bournemouth but that seems to have cooled. That might have worked for him with direct flights available from Manchester. But Newcastle? Either its a 4 and a half hour train journey or a 5 hour plus drive. He'd have been better off at Bournemouth where he could grab a flight from Gatwick and be in Aberdeen about 2 hours quicker.

He should have moved last summer when his stock was high rather than being greedy and seeing out the last year of his contract.  12 months on a higher wage at a bigger club would have been plenty compensation for a signing on fee that in actual fact hasn't materialised yet.

His attitude was stinking last season and quite possibly put a few clubs off.

And for purely selfish reasons we would have got a bit of cash into the bargain.

Ryan Fraser has made a cunt of it. His agent needs shot. He’ll come good tho cos he’s quality and every team hes played against will see that. An epl team will take him and he’ll do well.

Whoever has advised him throughout this is a fucking imbecile.

Absolutely bang on

He was linked with loads of clubs, but no one wanted to pay the money for him.

It's all karma. Wee arse.

Who is Si Ferry?

Failed ex- Celtic player, went down south after getting released, Portsmouth and then Swindon IIRC, came back up the road to Dundee and now with Peterhead. Does youtube interviews with players and managers, obviously looking for a media career in the future
