You're criticising her for not attending the crash site of the "Death Express" (as headlined by the Scottish Sun, incredibly)?

Why? You do know that a politician can't reverse the tragedy after it has occurred right? You do know that politicians gravitating towards photo ops is a cynical strategy designed to fool the foolish? You do know that politicians have a day job to do, that six or seven hours including travel would take from?

Criticise her for being bad at her job but not for failing to attend that.

She by her own admission spends all morning getting ready for her daily TV show in the afternoon.  When does she do her day job eaxctly?

It makes sense, Glasgow is a better, more valuable city than this place and their cases are no where near as bad as ours was per capita.

14 per 100k versus 33 per 100k.

You should enrol on an online maths course mate, give you something to do while in hiding

It is utterly fucking  ridiculous. You are supposed to wear a mask to get walked to your table but then you can take it off and basically do what you want - social distancing granted etc How the fuck is me walking to a table more likely to spread it than a barmaid serving me 2 seconds later without one.

And you have to take your pint off a tray from the staff yourself as they are not supposed to physically  hand over a beer.

It's not making going to the bar a particularly enjoyable experience.  Maybe that's the plan?

See there was 1 death today of a patient that tested positive for Covid. It isn't clear whether this is what they died from however? They maybe has a complete seperate issue or accident and tested positive? I guess it possibly ties in today with 1 less in ICU however.

It's an anomaly imo though.

No it really doesn't make sense.

I offered an explanation as to why a pub may be asking customers to do that as, as far as I'm aware, it is not mandatory. I wasn't advocating that or arguing for it. Perhaps I didn't make myself clear.

You've not been in pubs post lockdown - or at least not many - but this doesn't make you a bad person.

I've been in pubs a number of times. Good to know that not being in one wouldn't make me "a bad person" though.

You need to invest time in a subject before you can understand it. Even bar staff wearing masks is less than 50% in NE Scotland and very few (none that I've come across) ever ask us to wear one.

Yeah, I'd agree it's been very rare to see staff masked up in bars/restaurants.

As if. It's not masks in pubs I've come across (not once actually) but the way they bark at you to "sit over there" etc. is appalling. I have walked out of pubs twice because of it, but mainly cos I checked and it wasn't busy, only an arsehole or two and none of my mates were in.

I've been scolded for not following the arrows in my local,  even though the bar had not 1 person in it  (everyone sitting outside).  Even more ridiculous was getting pulled up for not following the arrows,  even though following the arrows meant I had to walk closer to the only people in the pub than I would have otherwise.  Zero common sense being applied,  it's actually comical.

That's because the small minority who don't think its a sensible idea are either indoors on AFC chat moaning about it or masturbating into a tupperware box for japes.

You honestly believe it's a small minority that think all the regulations are a nonsense?  I think you're the one that needs to get out more. You're turning into Parky Mk2.

Weird comment. Was at head office in work today. Tomorrow I'll be at two separate other places of work (each with circa 100+ people there), then Friday I'll be back to head office and then out to watch the football at night.

I think you might not actually understand most of what I post (possibly my fault), given quite a few times you've either misinterpreted or misrepresented me.

It was a reference to his covid views,  not about you not getting out enough. Definitely some crossed wires between us sometimes though. ?
