It's been said that he chose the wrong allies. After all, Mussolini's cock-up in Greece delayed the invasion of the USSR by 2 months and subsequently cost them the chance to gate-crash Moscow before the severe Russian winter kicked in. His alliance with Japan also brought him to war with the previously neutral USA. Not that I agree with his totalitarian politics (although the body-count for Communism is far, FAR higher and more barbaric), but he was damn close to winning the war, were it not for his choice of allies. This is decades old. Before, since and now. Simple solution. Either look at the facts - the evidence of the last 60 years - and make restitution or get rid of the unjust US support for one side and let them fight it out. Then again, since they hate each other so much that innocent children will be slaughtered - as they are being right now - it would be immoral to sit back and let the arabs kill the jews. Yet it's ok for the jews to kill the arabs? In 2014, this month, this week, today? How did this get so fucked up? Oh right. Hamas are the baddies. I forgot. Palestine was under a British Mandate and when the Haganah started using terrorism to take control the Brits walked away. Yes terrorism. The politicians know that It'll calm down in a few weeks after 100s more civilians or even 1000s more have been killed and then it'll all be forgotten about until the next time it happens. Just been watching this: He now speaks with a kind of hybrid accent of Dundee/Someone out of Lawrence of Arabia. He did well in the house of congress and he makes valid points but I would be wary of pinning my colours to the mast of someone who appears on the verge of a breakdown. He is very impressive and I must admit I only started doing a bit of research on him this weekend. You won't see him on the BBC or similar much as he has crucified them so badly in the past that they are scared shitless of him. Salmond is better though. I was about to recommend that GG take a bit of Salmond's nouse but that would just dilute the purity of his argument. Rocket, do you think GG is straight up in what he is saying? I detect an ego behind it all but that doesn't make him necessarily wrong. He seems genuine but a small part of me remains unconvinced.
