  1. It was Sheerin I was thinking of - www.afc.co.uk/2015/04/30/young-dons-win-development-league/
  2. Did Robson win something when he was in charge? I don't know where I'm pulling that from but thought I had a vague memory of it.
  3. I think he will likely be in contention for other jobs as well but not sure if he's a fit for St Johnstone unless they plan on a complete reset with a new playing style. But I suppose there are worse times to change their thinking with the change in ownership. I suspect he'd be on the shortlist at St Mirren if Stephen Robinson was to move on where he'd probably have a decent chance of doing well. Anyway, no doubt he's done well at Airdrie. Very young for a manager which might be a challenge at a bigger club.
  4. Completely forgot about the League Cup. Absolutely awful game which made Miovski's winner all the sweeter.
  5. Two defeats and a draw against Hibs so far this season if I recall correctly, which includes the 2-0 at Easter Road where we had almost as many shots as we did against the Swedish champions. We are probably due a win against them and Hibs are woeful at the minute under Nick Montgomery, so I think we might get the three points. We're certainly on better form. Their board are in an interesting position where they have to either stick by their manager and let him piss a load of money up the wall in the summer only to be sacked within eight games or cut him loose now. I think a defeat at the weekend would be the final straw for them.
  6. Genuinely thought we were only headed one way after leaving the St Mirren collapse but well done to Leven for turning it around. Second in the form table (last six) so does make you wonder how we'd have got on if he was given it instead of Warnock. Irrelevant now though, can look ahead to next season.
  7. Not nice to hear. Hope he recovers fully from whatever it was. Stand free Pete.
  8. The diving, throwing his arms up in the air when he doesn't get free-kicks and unwillingness to press with any intensity or track back have probably cost him his Aberdeen career. It's a shame because he's technically good enough to be a 10-15 goal a season player in Scottish football. Suspect we'll try to recoup as much money as we can from Emmen as part of a permanent deal.
  9. Talking about us again. Nothing that out there, doesn't see the sense in Thelin arriving in the summer. www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/jimmy-thelin-aberdeen-summer-appointment-29104087 Still no big reveal about Cormack and how much of a supposed nightmare chairman he is.
  10. Three draws and four defeats apparently. I actually would've guessed more draws than that. It's just a terrible fixture.
  11. Only won two of our last nine home games against St Johnstone. I swear these stats the BBC put out before matches are rarely anything but grim reading for us.
  12. The refereeing in this half 😂 what hope have you got when it's going on at this level.
