  1. Oh Jimmy Jimmy... Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Thelin's good... Too soon ?
  2. Exactly this. We clearly spread whatever resources we have way too thin on acquiring the bakers dozen of mostly duffers. Would rather spend time on 6 quality signings and then improve on that in January, with ideally players that aren't signing new contracts at their existing clubs.
  3. Fair enough. Hadn’t seen it…
  4. The Michael Stewart thread ? 🤷‍♂️
  5. Dearie me... I've been a supporter of some of his opinions in the past but his take on the next Aberdeen manager on Sportsound this afternoon suggests he needs some help. I get that it's all about the clicks and social media engagement but why would anyone think that we should be giving the job to Neil Lennon, Malky Macky or Jack Ross... and argue the point so passionately. The man is clearly in need of some help. I get that we're a shit show right now, but clearly nowhere near enough of a shitshow to hire these utter bellends...
  6. A whole season stuck on the bench is not going to do either Sokler or Gueye any good in the long term. At least Gueye has gone out on loan. When we cash in on Miovski this summer whoever's up front has massive boots to fill...
  7. And the more he fucks it up the more he thinks that getting even more involved is going to help. It's not.
  8. Fuck me at this point in proceedings I'm more than half expecting Pearly Dave and Gunner to come out and say they'll be doing it for the foreseeable. If we can't convince a top notch management team to come on board then questions have to be asked as to who was negotiating and how they were negotiating...
  9. Cormack has still a little equity in the tank in comparison to Milne but he's certainly getting there in regard to his managerial appointments. Which is why it's laughable to me that Milne and Garner are still on the FMB - what the fuck do they know about anything ? Gunn shouldn't be there and I'm not sure Burrows has been allowed to assert himself given the overly hands on approach (qv interfering) that it is alleged Cormack does in the day to day running of the club. If as I suppose that's all true then it's clear to anyone what and who needs to change. Whether the dinosaurs and incompetents can be got rid of is yet to be seen. But Burrows and Cormack need to find to find some spine, grab the bull by the horns and get their hands dirty. If you've got rid of the chaff would have considered Warnock in some sort of Craig Brown role as club ambassador with his experience knowing a player or two and being able to go out and sell the club through his appearances and media opportunities. And if he wanted to go back into management elsewhere absolutely no love lost.
  10. Happy to... I miss my FB page... No holds barred... Profanity insanity... The most sweary podcast in the world... It sells itself...
  11. Surely any boss of a business has to look down from the top and ask who's been here as long or longer than I have... If they don't have anything to offer or any new perspective on what we've done right in the past... bin. Who's been here less time than I have ? How have they contributed to the shit show ? Bin if they're shite. Root and branch. Let Burrows be the CEO if that's what he's there to do. If he's not good enough get someone else. Surely to fuck Cormack and Burrows know what's fucking wrong - hello Mr Gunn - but they also need to start looking at themselves in terms of their ability to make any competent choices whatsoever. Old wiggy is almost looking semi competent in comparison. This is a club as tired and as backward thinking as the city it exists in.
  12. Dave Cormack @CormackDavie Dons fans - @Alan_Burrows and I totally get your frustration. That was sickening to watch at the end in injury time today. The criticism that we are only on here when things are going well is fair, but that’s mainly because we cannot answer questions about our employees, like our players and coaches, or discuss detailed concerns which could impact morale. Contrasting our play in Europe, only 10 weeks ago beating Eintracht Frankfurt, and reaching the Scottish League Cup Final, our league form with the same squad has been awful and baffling. The support and backing including today, with 1,000 singing from start to finish, has been brilliant. We too kick every ball and go through all the emotional highs and lows watching the team. We know it’s hard going right now, but I can assure you we don’t do walking away and we’ll get this right. Glib... I mean he can't win but this wasn't the statement of intent he was clutching at straws for...
