Rich Hall is great. Love his TV stuff too ??

Strangely got a friend request on facebook from him during lockdown. It was nothing special. He pretty much sent a request to everyone involved in comedy who was on facebook.

Lives near me. Gigged with him once and didn't speak to him. Spoke to his wife last week though.

Fern Brady - sexy.

Gigged with Fern once a few years back. Very down to earth.

Quite a boast

To be honest I thought it was a fake account until I seen other people commenting on getting the request. Turned out to be genuine. You never know maybe one day I will get him to headline the gig I run(ran) if I can start booking again.

Jimmy Carr - His Dark Material

Brilliant stuff

Not bad.

Him using his laugh for comedic effect is a crine tho, as is the eyes thing after every joke.

Was watching some 2004/2007 Gervais standup the other nicht - must be hard to be a comic these days now all the taboo topics have been done to death. Carr just made similar jokes Gervais did about rape/disableds/blacks/murdered hookers/cancer patients etc. Funny in places, a bit hackneyed now tho.

Reginald D Hunter in Perth tonight.

Seems like somebody who would be good to have a pint with but not what you could ever call an A lister for stand up. Think his delivery leaves something to be desired and the material itself very much "meh".

Aye he's better making TV shows than stand up.

still very much angry old man shouts at clouds vibes.

I'd argue against that totally.  Gervo seems a man very happy in his own skin.  Fattened and rich ( he never stops mentioning it ), he pushes all the right buttons and gives a good hour.

I really liked this show.   Couple or five moments when I laughed out loud which I don't remember doing before watching his other specials.

Decent stand up.

Got fat again though the fat cunt.

Alan Partridge, Glasgow Hydro.

Overall not great. One genuine LOL sketch but undeniable Coogan's lost the knack of doing Partridge well. Too often neither voice nor mannerisms quite hit the mark. Disappointing, though the happy clappers seemed pleased enough.

He needs to retire Partridge. Tired and dated now, he's flogging a dead horse.
