Still a long away to Celtic have 2 games in hand.

If the Huns don't win the league then they will self implode.

Currently the directors are keeping the lights burning on a monthly  basis. The Hun board  is not made up of mega rich individual's they have limited wealth

Their playing a very dangerous financial game should they fail to win the league  some of the directors will walkway they wouldn't  have the funding to bail them out again.

Early exits from European competiion would fuck them up financially they have no fall back plan

Already  the owe 10 million to HRMC  15 million in transfer  fees to other clubs,  Close Brothers outstanding loan and Mike Ashley invoice say 15 million, even the Glib and Shameless  is charging them 8% on his loan

Additionally  they cannot really  make any increase in home revenues  as apparently there season ticket holders fill the ground

They seem to think by selling assets at prices off the scale they will recoup  revenue, unfortunately  bids off the radar need to be followed  through in real cash terms.

Of course  any assets sold need to be replaced

All is not well at Iprix  80 million pissed down the drain since 2012 with fuck all to show for it.

The crazy  fuckers who run the club have absolutely  idea  what they are doing. They will fuck it up and Sevco will die

Agree on the first bit.  They have to win for their model to work and I am old enough to remember Ibrox in the Early 80’s.  But more interestingly we can all now see with horrific transparency the lengths some will go to to support that Supposedly earned position (and then helped by others who subsequently lie down to them because of a badge).  Not least their supposed rival who’d supposedly do anything to end them when in fact it now transpires that quite the opposite is true.  Their meltdown will be funny, but it would be just as funny next year as well with us having firstly witnessed an epic hun meltdown first.  It’s all about patience.

Christie might end up down south. But I don't think Mcgregor is particularly highly rated down there and similarly to Scott Wright, might be considered physically too slight. The Celtic board are totally culpable by throwing away the light years advantage Brenda had left them with by going back to the biscuit tin years and appointing Lennon.....almost certainly the cheapest option the thought their fans would let them away with.

Sevco's board knew fine well that 10IAR will never be bettered ever, and that had Celtic reached that figure, that some of their more fickle fans would fuck off never to return. Those of us old enough to remember the early 80s will recall a shite oldco, finishing 4th to 6th in the SPL and crowds at Ibrox of 15-20k tops, only ever selling out for the arse cheek derby (and Celtic got the whole of the Broomloan for that). They're following exactly the same formula that happened after Sir Minty took them over. But it took about 20 years for the financial meltdown to occur...in the interim they hoovered up trophies galore and despite the doping (cheating) have been allowed to retain them on oldcos records.

The orc hordes wont give a fucking shit if all happens again 15-20 years down the line as they'll just go bust and have someone else reform as a newco, repeat and rinse

Yeah I’m old enough to recall the early 80s and some of the crowds at Ibrox were a helluva lot less than 15-20k. Seem to recall 6k for a clash with Dundee?

We've heard this sort of thing for the best part of 7 years, as @Poodler said earlier, the "tick tock" pish is really boring now.

They will never be allowed to die like the original team. Establishment club and all that crap.

Bids or no bids, they will walk the league. Gerrard has built a very formidable team, untouchable by anything in Scotland.

Yep, he's built a good solid team who are steamrolling all before them however the closing of the gap is more to do with the inept leadership at Celtic than any giant leap forward by der hun!

The 'uddersfield fans nailed it; early in the second half, 3-0 down, "this place is like a fucking library". I laffed. They looked at me with pretendy aggression. I looked back deep into their eyeballs. I was one. They were thousands. Not real mannies.

What you fail to understand is the simple truth that one man can not stand against everybody surrounding him in a physical confrontation. It's not possible for one maverick to prevail over a crowd.

What you also fail to understand are other simple truths of life;

Most people are sheep. They lack balls. That's two truths, here's some more; the man who shows no fear and acts as if he has recklessness in a crowd gets left alone. Because the weak sheep think he must be mental acting like this. You want more? It's like acting like you belong in a situation where you don't. If you carry yourself with an air of entitlement, you get off with it. These are good techniques for stamping on the weak. It can be minor and inconsequential like going on the first tee of a golf course we had never even seen in our lives, like we owned the joint and inadvertently dismissing the sheep who all had their balls in a cute wee chute, waiting for up to an hour as they were on a glorious (and rare) sunny evening in Glasgow, or it can be major and very consequential.

You don't need to know any of this of course. You all fuck your own families and your genetics are so fucked you shit yourself if you ever find yourself out of your comfort zones, which you never will because you don't have the balls to step off the island, or in a forum setting, you don't have the balls to say anything ever. Sniping inbred frustrated fool. Life's happening somewhere else. Get with the beat.

Fuck off you inbred nothing. Spread your cheeks and let the weegie who's never tried Thai food or drugs tongue your hoop. Your cynicism is tiring for its relentlessness, never having any counterbalance. Tit.

Looking forward to your next tall tale of being hard as nails already.

Crowds of 2000 against Partick Thistle in 1979 at ipox.

If that's true then I'm surprised it happened so early, a year removed from winning the treble. Of course at that point they were rebuilding Ibrox, I think in 79 they were doing the Broomloan so their capacity would have been significantly reduced anyway. I thought they started getting shitty crowds from 81/82 or so onwards when it became very apparent that their outlay for building 3 stands (IIRC it cost them £6million in total) had significantly impinged on their team budget and led to a rapid downturn in fortunes (although bizarrely they always did well in the League Cup at a time when we were winning everything but it)

They regularly got crowds below 10k when late 60's through to the 80's.

In regards to the cup games, have a look at wiki and see the semi final draws, they always got the weakest team.

It was so blatant, it became comical.

Yep, agree with all of the above and that they are the best by far this season, in fact they have been improving year on year since they got promoted.

I'm just pointing out that Lennon and the Celtic board has done more to close the gap than any on field improvements by the huns.

I agree.

The Huns have improved, particularly defensively, but Celtic have faded dramatically in the last 2 years.

Rodgers' team was far superior to the current Hun team.

Hear the same stuff every year. Time to face the facts. Normality resumed when we should be streets ahead.
